I think I just go unnoticed because my biggest valuable hoards are Rares List Rats who nobody likes or cares about and Sorbets, who, again, nobody really cares about. The others are a random Purple Toxic here or a Black Advent there that's just tucked into other themed hoards. There are the Zebras, but, again, most people don't seem too interested in having one so they really dont' care I guess. XD

I care for anything I don't have, especially zebras. P:
But since I'm also a hoarder, no ill thoughts are involved.

I only hoard up till 20 of each pet and don't have list pet hoards. But still, I've gotten some... unkind messages. Most of the 2009 rare hoards started out as uncommons... >_>; well duh, not my fault that I joined CS before others and had dozens of them back then.

Oh yes, this. I'm terrified that someone is going to come along and hate on me for my malk beta hoard. I started hoarding them in 2009, and people were so eager to be rid of them that I got over 200, no sweat. And now, they're some people's dreamies. @_@;;;

I get the same troubles. Vixen advents are so difficult to find now due to demand, and when I finally find one for trade I get reactions like "You already have 13, so it wouldn't be fair if I gave it to you". >_>

I hoard moonswirl design pets. I love them to pieces. Currently I own one Moonswirl dog, three bunnies and three cats. I also have quite a few of the moonswirl stickers which I collect for dress ups like the ones above. I love love everything about the design of these pets. This is my only hoard with list pets, I just love them too much I feel like I have to hoard them.

Thanks to an amazing gift from KingQuincy, my hoard is a quarter of the way there! I am up to 51 of my cats, whereas my goal is 200 :3

What I don't get is people who refuse to trade to hoarders. I spent some time looking for some more 2011 Chinese New year pets for my hoard. I ran into so many people who refused to trade them to me because I'm a hoarder. Most of them where pets that were self-adopts, so they had basically been sitting in trade groups for 2 years. Obviously no one else has wanted them over those 2 years and I'm offering a fair trade. Is it really so bad that those pets would end up in a (current CS record) hoard instead of your trade group for another couple years?

Oh yes! Or they'd rather trade their pets to someone who just uses them as trade fodder.

At least they'll be loved and treasured if they're given to a hoarder. P:

Hoarding these guys. I am hoping to get ten, I have 4 at the moment. I am wondering to include the rest of the litter in my hoard. Any opinions?

I can understand it sometimes, because I'm missing about 30 or 40 of the rarest pets and some of them, many actually, are being hoarded. Or have been in the past, I don't stalk those hoards.
So, there is a bit of jealousy in there, but I COULD try to trade up. I don't. So why should I hate them, because I'm too lazy? After all, the hoarders are trading for them, too. They don't always get them for free and when they do, it's usually a gift from good friends. X3

I haven't had any hoard hate...although that's probably because mine are all common or very common from recently.

But it annoys me when people say they won't trade with hoarders. I mean seriously, you have that pet, it will just sit in your trade group forever probably. I am offering overpay! Why don't you want to trade a pet you don't even like? ono

How did you get into hoarding? Did you get the idea from seeing other people's hoards, or did you just decide to do it on your own?

Do you hoard on impulse, or do you put a lot of thought into which pets you hoard and why?

If your hoard(s) is/are common or fairly easy-to-get pets, does it ever get to a point when all you feel like you ever do is trade for your hoard?

If your hoard(s) is/are rare or hard-to-get pets, do you find yourself running out of trade fodder easily?

If I started a hoard, I most likely would hoard something uncommon or rare, not terribly easy to find, because I'd feel more accomplished having ten of a pet I really had to work for rather than a thousand that were perhaps so easy to find that people are practically dumping their extras on me.

I started hoarding by accident, my first was my Liontails.
I just kind of found myself with 2 sets of them, and i was going to trade the other since they have amazing demand, but I just couldn't x3x
I've now found myself with 28, and planning to offer on more once I get more fodder :L

I'm mostly an impulsive hoarder, but I have some control

Apart from right now, working on a few things with my small collections, but after tat, back to hoaaarrrrrrds

For whatever reason, I've always managed to keep some kind of fodder
I pretty much started with a sun jewel last December, and right now I have a non-balloon, boar PPS, bumblebee spider and 1830C$ that i traded for,which isn't too bad for me :L
I also have a group filled with list pets that I'd rather not trade, a complete collection of PPS pets and malks, and Liontails that I've overpaid for most of :L
In one case,a red toxic for a set :L

Most people seem to get by, even when they run out of fodder, so I wouldn't overly worry about that :L
