Doesnt off-account offset the rarities of the pets or something?

No, I've just been around for a long time
Off account is when you log off and adopt pets without using an account. You can't add them to your account, but they are fun to look at. People do it because...well, because they want to see which pets they could've gotten I suppose.
EDIT: @Céleste: Unlimited
EDIT: Kluo: Not that I've heard of. I'm pretty certain they aren't counted when determining rarities.

It's unlimited, you can adopt as many as you like.

You can adopt off account unlimited, they don't affect rarities though and they aren't allowed to be moved to your account.

If you don't have an account you're still allowed to adopt pets.
