I am agree with this idea. But it doesn't matter If it moves, but even the gap won't help sunjewel anymore. There is just a point

Hm, i still have seen a few swaps happen. (For example, my ur tiger was a swap for a sunjewel.)

Keeping that in mind, i still wouldn't mind putting them on the same line or the tiger above the jew. It doesn't really matter though, the tiger goes for allot more regardless of where it is.

I've seen allot more rerelease sunjew's then UR tigers though oUo.

We also need to keep in mind that if the UR Tiger does become the Top Dog, people will start developing their own ideas of what it's worth instead of just 'overpaying by a lot'.

Yeah, same line sounds pretty reasonable. I think a lot of the supply and demand might have to do with several people hoarding UR Tigers too and not as many seeming to have the same interest in Sun Jewels lately. It's just putting more Sun Jewels into circulation. And with people not having anything to offer for the ones "on the market" their value appears to be lowered when it really isn't. It's just that there are so many "big traders" trying to trade down for fodder. And it's hard to find an appropriate amount of this fodder all in one place to trade a Sun Jewel for. Where the UR Tigers, people aren't trading them down. They're trying to get one because it's still a relatively new pet. The people who want to not necessarily have a full collection but just be able to say "Yeah, I traded for a UR Tiger" Or "Yes! I got to own a UR Tiger" are still in the majority. Where most of them probably have already had a Sun Jewel pass through their account once or twice already so these people are not interested in the Sun Jewels.

About the UR tiger being raised above the Sunjewel - that's plain crazy.
You want to plunge the trading economy into complete chaos all because the UR tiger has people overpaying by sunjewels + nons? We've all seen the big demand outburst for the CE Galaxy when it was moved up to Green Sorbet level, or when the Joker was moved up - imagine that 10x worse. Imagine people paying 2-3 Sunjewels in the future just for a 2010 special release? It's only a 1 year & 4 months old!

And already it's pulled ahead of everything. That's plain out mad. Sure, there are less UR tigers in circulation, but that's mainly pinned on the hoarders (no offense intended), people just plain out refusing to trade the tiger because of the crazy demand, and people demanding crazy overpay.

This all goes back to the point that people are just overreacting (with all URs), and dishing out a lot, and now the crazy overpay makes people believe it should be raised higher and higher. What do you want?

You want the UR tiger to be moved up all in the name of "hey, the UR tiger is the rarest now! 8D time to demand more pets!" - The move would just plunge the entire trading system into chaos, make hoarders time even worse, regular players trying to get the UR tiger have an even worse time, and demand way more than its actual worth.

On the same line as the Sunjewel - I have no problem with. They've always been able to swap around with, if you find the right person. But raising it above.. Look at the top of my post.



@ My dog Rudy, that's because the UR tiger has been released only twice. The Sunjewel has been around since the start of CS. Only over the top demand (along with the help it's been released a little bit less) has brought it this far.

why does sunjewel worth more than UR tiger? I thought UR tiger as OMG so rare the whole time. instead Sunjewel was turned VR for a few times already.... sorry nothing against you.

Let me see if I can get my point across in a way that makes sense, though Hekomi has explained this very well in the Guide To Understanding Rarities.

First a quick tutorial on how to see which pets are where. This is something entertaining to do when you're bored out of your mind and have nothing else to do too. ^_^
1)Click on one of your pets.
2)Take a look at the address bar at the top of your screen.
3)At the end of that address is a number unique to the particular pet you are looking at.
4)Now, click on the address bar and backspace to erase that number up to the = sign.
5)Now replace that number with the number 1 and hit ENTER.
6)This will show you Tess's Sunback, the very first registered CS pet, Meiji.
7)Now replace that number 1 with a number 2.
8)There's Nick's Sunny.
9)You can continue changing that end number all the way up to the most recently adopted newborn on the site.
10) In this way you now have the ability to peek into the accounts of every single person ever registered on CS and see exactly what pets are where and what they are doing. And most importantly, when was the last time said owner logged in?

Now why knowing how to do this is important to what I'm trying to explain here:
The site's been around since basically April of 2008. Targeted mainly at mid to upper teen students all around the world. Take a look through the pets in the way I've just shown you. These pets were adopted by these mainly mid to upper teen's. These kids joined the site and it was a new fun thing to do along with all the other stuff that kids that age do. What's happened 4 years later? They've learned to drive, gotten jobs, gotten boy/girlfriends, graduated, started college, finished college, moved away from home, bought new internet browsing devices and a thousand other random things that have made them lose track of this wonderful Adoptables Site we all know and love. Sadly, more often than not, leaving behind all those wonderful Sun Dogs, Galaxies, White Julies, Toxics, Tribals, Sorbets, and all the rest. Also keep in mind that there was a far far smaller number of people with accounts on the site in the early months when these super valuable pets were released originally. Where nowadays memberships might roll in by the hundreds a day, back then it was probably more like a few dozen a week I'd think.
Thusly,
1) there were less of these pets adopted to begin with each month than we have now.
2) though they are re-released each year, the original hundreds are sitting collecting dust in dead accounts as their owners moved on with their lives and left their pets behind.
3) Lastly, though the Sun Jewel has just now turned OMG So Rare, it IS and always will be in truth far far far rarer than the UR Tiger Dog. Simply because, as I've tried to explain above, though the UR Tiger's overall numbers may be a few hundred less, nearly ALL of said UR Tigers ARE still residing on ACTIVE accounts where they can and will be traded around the site. Making them available to the CS economy on and off. Wheras the majority of Sun Jewels, Moon Swirls, etc are in fact sitting on dead accounts and taken out of circulation on a far more permanent basis.

That's cool. I read over it a few times trying to make sure I didn't sound like I was being snotty or sound like I was talking down to anybody. I just know sometimes people talk about stuff and I'm totally lost because I just don't quite understand it and follow from the beginning so by the end of the explanation I'm drowning. So I tried to explain in a way that we'd all be on the same page.
So many people don't take into account the "Dead Accounts" and if they do even know about them don't fully comprehend the impact they have on the CS economy. It's the whole reason why a 2012 Very Rare will never ever be of the same value as even a mere 2008 Uncommon or Rare. Because there are so many less of them in actual circulation.

Just hope it's a bit clearer now and hopefully others will read and they'll understand a bit better.
