Definitely unfair to you. Those horses are 2009/2010 re-releases and are worth more than the offered pets and items.

The bats have much more demand than horses and this horse in particular wasn't that rare (so it's a normal rare). I'm not sure if a late 2009 rare with little demand quite bridges the gap to a 2010 very rare with good demand. But get a second opinion on this.
