Wow, rude much?

Dividing my pets into groups makes CS fun. Therefore, I have over 40 groups and that number will probably grow. Tell me, which would YOU prefer: going through 40+ groups and making sure that all but 1 or 2 are trade-inaccessible, or that greedy jerks just stop bothering you? Hmm?

I Agree, When you have over 30+ Groups, Its hard to keep track of them.
Witch ones are unlocked. Witch ones are open..
I hope we see something in the future witch gives you an entire control panel witch shows what groups that are unlocked.

That would be nice... But I bet Tess and Nick have loads to do, being in college and all that.

And I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just tired of everybody complaining without doing anything about it. I posted on this thread, but I fixed the problem instead of carping about it.

Here's my problem with your (what I viewed as rude) post: If you're tired of the complaining, get out of the trade RANT thread. This is what the thread was made for.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I kinda like laughing at the ridiculous trades people get. I just don't like the moaning.

That would be so nice! I have so many groups to keep track off :) The best way is to have someone set up a trade with you and have them tell you which groups they can access! Saves tons of trouble on seeing which gruops you have locked and unlocked!

You think it's as simple as, "God, just block the groups if you don't want the stupid trades." (My paraphrase.)

Well, I think it's as simple as, "Don't want the whining, don't read the thread."

We may just have to agree to disagree.

I agree with this.
We shouldn't have to disable trading on our other groups, people should just respect and acknowledge the fact that if someone has gone through the trouble of sorting pets into trade groups that they're the ones you should use if you're looking to trade. It's plain and simple common sense.
I've found having a message in my trades stating that only groups marked trade will be traded from has helped cut back the number of people asking for other pets which is nice.
It'd be nice to have a different way for us to choose which groups should and shouldn't be disabled. Like an organise groups page, then a list of our groups, with columns next to them, each displaying the options we have now.

Locking groups is of little help when it's your trade groups they're going after - I've had so many ridiculous trades on some of the pets in my 'Special Trades' group (which has specific detail on what I do and do not want for them), that I've actually been forced to remove my more valuable trading pets from there and hide them in non-trading groups... which means I can't get any good offers on them either. >.< All of my groups except those I am willing to trade pets out of are locked, and I'm still pestered by bad trade offers.

That said, I have over twenty groups, and I just went and set the trade settings for all of them in under five minutes, so even if you have 100 groups, it would take less than half an hour to lock the ones you don't want to trade out of, and it will save you far more time than that as well as a lot of frustration. In other words, if you're getting hounded with bad trade requests on pets you absolutely will not trade but are in open groups because you can't be bothered to lock them... maybe you should consider spending the five minutes it takes to go do that, yes? ;) An 'Organize Groups' feature would be lovely though, maybe a checklist sort of thing to change trade settings all at once. Something to suggest in the Suggestions Forum perhaps? I'd support it for sure! ^^
