GH Litter & Salmon Festival Discussion Thread

In hindsight it would've been fun to do a more fishy design - I had a lot of fun with the fox though. :) And there is a little something fishy about the tattoo lol.

Guys/Gals/Non-binary folks who are good at taxonomy- what animal is a distant cousin of the red fox (if that's the species that Kyar depicted)

which is a relative ( maybe not distant, but nonetheless ) of a fox ?

edit - ee , then again kyar and wes' cat underwent major changes
in their adult cats, so it really is anyone and everyone !

Guys/Gals/Non-binary folks who are good at taxonomy- what animal is a distant cousin of the red fox (if that's the species that Kyar depicted)

Maybe this means there'll be a more salmon/fish themed cat? As Zalma is like, a salmon fox according to that story I thought. And there is that bit on the hint chart where someone says it ight be possible one of the GHs took the salmon theme a bit more literally.

Hm. Yeah, Seasonal gave a nod to a user who said that they bet one of the GHs took the Salmon Squad thing literally. But she never said whether it was a thing or not, just that that's a good idea

All right guys I've got a new theory. I think I have found Lady's kitten bc no other GH fits this kitty....


Edit:

first we can cross out Kyar, ZEL, Celozon, Wesley, Blaine, Simon, and Orchid Sprig, since they have claimed their cats.

Seasonal can't work bc the kitten doesn't have green eyes, and Irisid and Aquila won't work bc there r no line edits..

as for lucky, well I'm pretty sure hers is the torn ear

i dont no if anyone saw this.... do u guys have any thoughts or am i missing something

Interesting thought! But I will tell you that if you go back through my hints and pay attention to them, along with the name of my cat, figuring out which is mine will be made a bit easier 8)

I looked up what kippo is and this is what i got:

Kippo is a medium-interaction SSH honeypot written in Python. Kippo is used to log brute force attacks and the entire shell interaction performed by an attacker. It is inspired by Kojoney. The source code is released under the New BSD License.

Kippo is no longer under active development and recommends using the fork'd project Cowrie.

And looking over the cat. Its lines are super dark, like the original cat linearts, and the shading seems pretty off as well since parts of the shading aren't blended and such. Like the artist purposefully stopped working on this stage and therefore is no longer in active development by using such an old design.

So i do believe, this is little kippo, Lady's cat. :3

The chart literally only has two of your hints at the moment, so i'm not sure if those were all the hints/clues.

I love these pets! Of course I like a few of them more than others, not quite a big fan of the fox one to be honest, it looks a bit awkward but that's okay, these ones are my favorite so far though


Ahh so pretty.. I'm also quite excited to see what the sluggish one evolves into, enjoying the salmon festival so far!

I'm not going to agree or disagree with your reasoning XD but I do want to point out that the shading, if you compare it to regular kittens, is standard. There isn't anything off about it; that is, if you meant the shadow-y parts by "shading". The other part that seems "off", if I'm seeing things through your lens, is the actual design, and that's probably done on purpose- the artist just didn't want the design to be blended on the belly and legs.
