Thanks again. xDD I just went back and re-read the story with Peaches... I still love it. <3 I think its ten times better then the one I wrote with Hypno and Grayscale. xD

Urg... I have a pair but the story needs a song to go along with it. -runs off to listen to music-

Night{m}, Candi{f}, and Stryker{m}.

Night is a handsome showdog, Candi is a pampered pet, and Stryker is a stray.

~*~*~*~*~Prince Charming~*~*~*~*~

Stryker quickly licked his paw, ran it over his forehead, and stepped out of the secluded alley. The night was dark. He approached the small, delicate female. She was about to enter the city park, but she hesitated a little. "Hi Candi" he ventured. Candi looked up at him. "Stryker ... hi" she said shyly. "Would you like me to escort you through?" he asked softly. "Really, you would?" She said with a shy smile, then followed him through the gate. As they walked through the park, they passed a rose bush. Stryker carefully pulled the biggest one off, and offered it to Candi. She gasped, and shyly started to take it from him.

At that moment, Night entered. Hmmm... What's going on here? He asked, snarling at Stryker. "Leave us alone, Night" Stryker growled, the rose locked tight in his jaws. "Come on Candi, let's go get something to eat" Night soothed, touching his shoulder to hers. Candi stood between the two feuding males. She met Stryker's eyes, then Night's. She started to step toward Stryker, then walked to Night. Stryker stared, dropped the rose, and ran back through the park.

Candi and Night sat outside the bakery, Night was viciously tearing through the dumpster, and Candi was looking off into the distance. "Should I have left Stryker?" She wondered aloud. "Sure, I think your choice was best for him, and for you" Night replied. "Best, but not right." Candi said, and raced back to the park.

~*~*~Reunion~*~*~

Candi raced through the park, calling Stryker's name. As she reached the rose bush, she saw the rose, trampled on the ground. She gently picked it up, and continued searching for Stryker. As she neared the pond, she saw him sitting at the edge. She ran up to him, touched her nose to his, and whispered ever-so-softly "I love you". Stryker looked into her eyes, saw the rose, and knew she meant it with all her heart. "I love you too" He whispered.


Since then, they were inseperable. The next day, Night fell for another girl.

Nightfall, The Heartbroken beauty

Sunrise, the hottest male

Raindrop, The pampered pup

Nightfall cried next to the fountain. She showed the new bruises from a fight. She picked up the dying rose next to her and whimpered. There was the sound of claws scraping the cement. Nightfall looked to see Sunrise running to her, worry on his face.
"Sunrise" Nightfall whispered.
The rose was held tight in Nightfall's muzzle. Sunrise rubbed against Nightfall.
"I was so worried. I heard that you where in a fight and i couldn't find you" Sunrise barked.
A red and black shadow walked in the woods and caught Nightfall's eye. Raindrop came running in. She pounced on Nightfall, making the hurt wolf yelp. The rose flew out of Nightfall's muzzle. Nightfall scrambled away, crying, leaving her rose on the cement. Raindrop slammed her paw down on Nightfall's rose, crushing it to crumbs.
"I hope that 8!tc4 didn't hurt you, my sweet" Raindrop giggled.
Sunrise snorted, running in Nightfall's direction. He noticed a red rose bush on the way to the river and took the prettiest one for Nightfall. He heard the young wolf crying and walked in. He dropped the rose in-front of Nightfall, in which she picked up.
"I can't function without you" Nightfall whimpered.
Sunrise licked Nightfall's cheek.
"Me neither"
