Between the short litters, and nearly every single species having a split, I have completely given up on this moth. I don't even care any more. It's not fun. It doesn't make me want to seek out and find all the outcome, it just makes me want to drop everything. Trading is a nightmare. The outcomes are all very similar - plus, the short litters again.
I have never been happier for a new month homing up.
Hang in there, i'm sure things will be better next month.^^
What i usually do when i miss an outcome is just wait for the archive to be updated and then slap those suckers on my wishlist and eventually someone comes along after the clamor for obtaining those outcomes calms down a bit. c:
There better not be anymore splits for a long while. Having them every month kills the excitement and it has gotten rather boring. There isn't anything to look forward to with constant splits. I'm almost to the point of why collect and trade? It's killed the fun of it.
It's just a preference thing, honestly. For every person who tires of it, there are folks like me who love 4 outcome, 4 adopt litters and splits. I enjoy and look forward to the creativity the artists often bring us with splits, and rarely have trouble trading for outcomes unless my trading partner doesn't know how to label. It's kinda part of the risks I love about collecting and trading when I'm deciding whether or not to trade the still growing/unknown rarity pets.
I also agree, anything I miss I stick on my WL and almost every pet is no trouble to collect by the end of the month or even the next day's rollover when there's a new set of growths. Heck, every month it never fails there are multiple generous users giving the pets away for free or offering swaps. Even for some of the uncommon outcomes. We all get unlucky (last month all but one of my lava dogs turned into the same outcome), but trading is rarely nightmarish on a site with friendly and helpful users like this~

Some of us like to watch our pets grow. Having to wait until the pet has grown, or the month after isn’t the solve all you guys like to think it is. Yes the demand and craziness does die down after a month or two, but so does the excitement and desire to get the pet. I truly, and deeply hate the ‘wait it will get better’ cop out.
It absolutely does effect the trading process as well. I waited 3 days to get the missed outcome I needed (and only got about 3 trades total 2 highly outrageous) , even with my original litter and the two extras I bought early so I didn’t have to deal with the nightmare trading on this site has become.
This complaint has nothing to do with the art work. The pets this month are fantastic, the salamander nerd in me is giddy.... but a lot of the joy that the art work brings is tampered by the frustration of all of the splits and short litters.
Not liking splits has nothing to do with not liking the pets themselves, or not appreciating the effort.

Not every month is going to be a winner for everybody, unfortunately. I'm really sorry that the splits have made trading such an unpleasant experience for you (◞︿◟)
Collecting all outcomes every month wasn't what made the site fun for me so, I adapted my play style to only collect certain species. But since it's only splits that bother you, I'm not sure what would help. It's easier said than done, I know, but maybe try and take a step back from the site during these times. Let yourself focus on other things you really enjoy to balance out the frustration. And seriously consider how much you want a particular split litter and if it's worth the effort. Does the feeling of having a complete collection outweigh the frustration of trading for them?
It sucks to have your enjoyment of CS dampened by this. I hope things are less chaotic for the next few months so you can get back into the groove. ♥

The foxes have such a pleasant springtime feel, I love it! Something about the delicate pinks really set my heart and mind at ease. Definitely my favorite litter of the month (`∪´)

Ohh... so the chameleons are fish themed! I was completely lost, haha. Tangs look like a colorful bunch and very cute as pet designs! Thank you for your knowledge, fish nerds 🙏

Oh my gosh, I adore the egg horses even more now !! Especially the bee one, good golly. I can't wait to see what the rest hatch into ovo

I have no problem with splits. To me, it's not that much different from non-splits. There's still going to be only so many outcomes from each litter. I enjoyed Saikiyo's colorful dog litter and her moon and sun horses, for example. I do find it fun and like the challenge of figuring out what's going on.
I missed a lot of outcomes this month, but I have never had a problem trading for monthlies. I am even picky with sometimes asking for certain pet ID #'s. It just takes some patience and waiting the right person to see your post.
