Trade Rant Thread [V.31]

I hate it when someone sends me a trade and the message is all text talk and caps and exclamation points.

It feels like they're screaming at me and running around all hyper. Most of the time I cancel these kinds of trades just because the message makes me want to cry. D:

So I sent a trade that was slightly unfair to the other person, by about a month. I thought that would be alright.

It was canceled, saying to read the rules.

My trade was a two-sided suggestion, I didn't see what was wrong with it. I sent a message asking. I wanted to know what I did wrong.

Turned out there was a rule not to offer ponies.

How did I miss that? And now I feel like a jerk. The other person seemed really annoyed.

Ugh, some people don't listen.

I sent this as a bid, as the Joker is in an auction. They then edited with the Joker on their side and my UR Tiger on mine with this message

I said it wasn't for trade and reverted it back to the original bid. They then sent it back with the UR Tiger on my side and said they'd cancel the auction now if I did that. Once again I edited it back, telling them for the 2nd time that it wasn't for trade, but that my bid still stood. They then sent back as a suggestion saying



I'm not keen, but I would love the UR TIger.



I decided just to cancel, but wow, I wish some people would listen. I know it shouldn't be in an open group, but I don't feel the need to create an entire group just for the Tiger (As it is both Ria's and mine, we figured to leave it ungrouped until we have other favourite pets we share). Besides, I don't mind getting trades for her as I usually cancel with a polite message saying it isn't for trade, but it really irks me when people don't listen to what you're trying to tell them. If they weren't interested in my bid they should've just cancelled it.

Someone complained about unfair trades. Sent them fair trade. They cancel saying they can't be bothered over 3 BWs as they have so many.

Well not my problem then XD

Only because you are COPPA'd doesn't mean you can send unfair trades. You can read and you can learn rarities.

I'm just wondering is it an epidemic on CS with all these 'C$ Shops'? I mean all these trade topics created by fairly new users. Never seen them before and now it's like 10 or 20 or 50 of them?
What's my rant? There are no good pets in these 'shops' and when there are a couple of rares, prices are just unbelievable >_< I understand that they might be not able to buy their own C$, but really, do they understand the value of real money at all?
Lets see what they will do when another set of Store pets gets released.

Eep, I don't understand why they sent this. For one we don;t like suggestions (Clearly stated in the rules), secondly that is completely unfair, and lastly they only had 2 WL pets of mine (That one they offered isn't even on my WL)

really I know they may be only uncommons but one the foxes were hard to get the dog with the headphones was a gift, not to mention I'd like the trade better if they at least had another 2011 uncommon on their side, not to mention they're in my showcase *sigh*
