Does anyone else think this will go very rare soon? It seems like it's on a lot of peoples' wish lists, and it took me a long time to get one.

Hmm. He does seem tricky to find, but I remember back when he was an uncommon not too long ago. I don't see VR in the near future.

I think the violet one was rare from the start, while its littermates grew rare after a few months

And does anyone think this could be rare anytime soon?

My guess is after the January pets are all grown, since they've got to wait for all the rereleases to grow to get accurate figures on how their rarities will change.

I might be wrong, but I think the outcomes of the re-releases (and pets in general) are already determined before they grow. So I don't think they have to wait until all the 18th pets have grown up to do the next rarity update. But we might not get it until the end of January anyway, and we'll get a mass update to include this month's pets as well.

Rarity updates usually occur in the last few days of the month.. We didn't get a December update (at least not yet, it could be a bit later than usual due to the re-release) so the next one should be around the end of this month I believe c:
