Although I am breakable, she has always loved me. She takes me out, ever so gently, and shows me to her friends. She whispers to me every night, "Good night, dolly."Whenever she plays dolls, I am a princess or a queen or something delicate and beautiful.
A Year Later
There is an intruder in my peaceful kingdom, one that is winning over the child. She is not beautiful like me, with her stiff purple hair, removable accessories, and pale base color. No, I am still the most beautiful, with my real hair color and sweet face. But the child can drop the intruder and it will survive. More and more I become the damsel in distress while the bad one is the hero. And I cannot let that happen. My kingdom is in danger.
The porcelain doll, Queen Beauty, watched over her poor, helpless kingdom from the new, plastic tower DivaDoll accessory pack that the child had gotten as a gift. The intruder, which had been called Diva, was the one that the castle went to.
This doll, Diva, was the reason that Beauty wasn't sitting in her rightful throne. Diva was galloping around the child's house, playing hero, while she sat, a captive, in this fake prison. Beauty wasn't allowed to go around the house anymore, not since the Child had recieved Diva.
Beauty hated Diva.

Nobody ever told you no when you were little. So you never learned what it meant. You didn't understand what you were doing wrong. When you would hurt me and I would yell no, stop!... You just didn't get it.
But then you took it too far, Dameon. When you got mad and put your gun in my face, you knew what you were doing. There was no excuse, it had nothing to do with knowing what no meant. You knew your exact intensions. You didn't mean to pull the trigger, you sobbed. I heard you, I knew exactly what happened.
But you didn't mean any of it. You didn't confess. You took your weights and attached a chain to them. You wrapped it around my neck and legs. You took me to the river mouth and dumped my body into the rushing water.
I sunk to the bottom, but my spirit was stuck here. I'm just the mist in the rain now. I can't take care of my little sister and little brother now. They were shipped to the orphanage after I went missing. My mom killed herself. My dad left. And it's all because of you.
It happened sixteen years ago, Dameon. I haven't been found yet, and you haven't been caught yet. You've seen the shows on TV where the family doesn't hate the killer, where they forgive him as if he didn't kill their flesh and blood. But you've single-handedly ripped my family apart. We will all hate you, right down to your cold, stone heart, forever. I can assure you that.
I haven't been found yet, and you haven't been caught yet. But you will get what you deserve.
