not sure if it has been mentioned before but you used to be able to look at pound pets by going to the pound account and clicking on their pets tab. you could then go back to the last page of the unsorted group and look at all the old/Rare/VR pets that would be in the next pound release.

If I remember correctly, before the pound was a random pool of pets that refreshed, when the pound opened, you could open up the groups like any normal trade, and skip all the way to the last page for the oldest pets. You just had to be really quick, lol.

They implemented the current system to avoid that, and make it a much more equal chance for players.

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this but when did they implement the "it's my birthday today" message on a pets page? It's so cute and i just noticed it after looking at the pet in my signature today. Pretty sure i've never seen that message on pets before.

Was the equine lineart change actually in 2009-2010? Because I distinctly remember the older horse linearts and I only started in 2011.

When I played as a teen I would do this RELIGIOUSLY haha! I read through the post yesterday and didn't see this; I'm glad to see someone bring it up.

I haven’t seen it mentioned yet but back in the day you couldn’t trade C$. People would have to tell you what they wanted from the store, you’d buy what they asked for and then trade it to them.

this! i started in early 2011 as well. i have a big equimagine collection because the art was different and i really liked it, i remember being really disappointed when they updated the lineart on those pets but i dont remember the year. i stopped collecting after that.

equimagine made horses from 2009-2010, and Yulynh joined as a new artist/the new lineart was introduced in December 2010. The original discussion for the lineart change actually happened in 2013! ^^
