Saint Patrick is associated with a legend, in which he stood atop a hill and banished all snakes from Ireland. That's why snakes are a common motif in St. Paddy's items on CS. c:

And this one reminded me of the Cayuga duck (which also funny cause this was the first breed of poultry that I had, they were rescues)

I’m curious if the black one still growing is going to be a black/blue Swedish (which I would love as I had one as a rescue)and if the other brown one like the Muscovy will be a mandarin?

I think this one looks more like Black East Indian duck - note the black feet.

this cat is absolutely my favorite one this month... i love fish, both prehistoric and modern, and i love cats. it's perfect.


also, for a second i was hoping this one would be based on charnia [brain sees what it wants to see i suppose] but it's definitely some kind of plant fossil, charnia looks different.
this cat is still quite lovely, big win for the plant fossil enjoyers out there :]

I know I expressed earlier how much I loved the Hamster Ball litter, and freely admit I thought the bowling ball would be my favorite (I've a set of candle pin balls that look very similar) but the (American) Football hamster has won my heart with his neon green eyes

True, they Cayuga bill and feet do tend to be more colored
