I'm wondering when the Shima Longtail will turn VR. c.c



I never loved that dog, but if it will turn VR I'm sure the demand will go up and I can trade it away for something. ovo

I don't think it will, there are so many in circulation and its demand comes from its looks rather than its rarity. Personally I got two Shimas from the litter in the first place and they've never carried much value to me because I see them everywhere.

If the Shima goes VR the whole staff litter will go VR. As a litter, I don't think they'll go VR for a long time because sure they became rare not *too* long ago? The demand is basically from hoarders/people who don't want to part with their shimas. They aren't 'rare' enough to go VR.

Each year in December everyone has the opportunity to adopt pets that have been released years ago, including 2009/2008 VRs. There is also a very slim chance to own a "un-released" pet and these have not ever been released and will only be available once a year. This usually occurs on the 18th and 24th of December.

Though I do believe there is a 1 in 300,000 chance of getting a omg so rare zebra from any horse adoption am I right?
I mean I do remember seeing someone had a newborn zebra outside of Christmas advent because of a hiccup in the odds making it easier that month..

They only just turned rare back in...mid 2011? They were uncommon when I joined. So a long, long ways yet. I see lots of them around anyways. *shrug*

I agree. They've always been fairly high demand, and all the Malks had a surge in popularity after Malk retired, so I think demand is the reason they're so hard to find, not rarity.

That is the only staff pup I am missing and I am having a devil of a time finding it.

It hasn't been rare that long... so I do not think it will be vr any time soon.

Wasn't that true only at one point or another in the past?
