From what I see I'm thinking towards the low main list range.
High september list is also possible, but that feels a little low to me...

It’s extremely low. We need to look at numbers as well. With 1091 left in circulation after the event ended (which means less are in circulation 8yrs later), and the DIY cake set being evaluated at a non (with 500 in circulation) the map just by that alone is worth half a non.

I really don’t want us to get into the habit of following strictly trade evidence for this thread in this instance because that hurts item collectors.

How do y’all look at trades and decide? Are you taking the difference of the pets worth and is that where the map is valued in the trade?

Hoe do we know there are 1091 Maps?

Back in 2011 after the event ended, you could actually see the items that were on the NPC accounts that you traded tokens into for other tokens/pets. You might've been able to see it for a few years after that but eventually they changed it so the items on the NPC accounts couldn't be seen anymore. But you had to trade a cooked meat into one NPC to get the map token and then the map token into either another or the same NPC to get the royal lion family set of pets.

When looking at the items the NPCs had, you just had to take the number of cooked meats that were on the NPC accounts, which meant that's how many maps were ever on user accounts in total, and then subtract the number of maps that were on NPC accounts, which was the number of maps that were traded in, and the answer would be the number of maps that would still be remaining on user accounts.

That number was 1091. That's the max number of maps that could ever be in circulation at one time unless they decide to rerelease items at some point. If they don't, then there can never be more than that number of maps in circulation. And that's not taking ones on inactive accounts or in a forever home for collection or other purposes. There are probably not very many maps available for circulation at all anymore.

Thanks for clearing that up, i missed that part how we got the number.

I dont they they will re-release items, that wouldnt be fair to those wil pay top dollar for an item.
It could seriously damage the economy
Though at some point some items wont be for trade anymore...
