Don't worry. I am right there with you. We get told personal characters will not be used to make litters and then this happens. I don't like the whole aspect either.

I wish they did original designs and not copied ones.

Where are we told that? And like I said before, this isn't the first time already existing characters where made into CS pets. The BHA horses where even from a story or something like that..
I just don't get the fuss about this pup when there wasn't any problems with the other characters in the past.

These two puppies look a bit like negatives of each other. Except the eyes, paws and little "x" at the forehead of grey one. Don't you think?
