Congrats everyone on all your amazing hoards

Question of the month from me to all of you

When you decide to hoard for you personally what’s your reason for your choices?

Just curious cause for me it’s a few different reasons I have some for looks some for memorials .

Mostly the looks, some few are due to other reasons though.

While I do like the dog itself, my reason for the hoard was because it fit one of my old RPG characters to a T:



Got a few hoards I kept for a friend of mine who quit CS years ago. They're very "her", most of them fit the theme of pink & cute.

I do have at least two hoards for family members, my own pets or about myself as well. =)

Just curious cause for me it’s a few different reasons I have some for looks some for memorials .

It varies, but usually it's just because I really like the look of the pet and/or it reminds me of a piece of media I enjoy. So if it looks cool, I hoard it. If I can tie it to a book/tv show/movie/etc. I like, I hoard it! Simplest method I use and I think one a lot of people employ as well.

I do have some hoards that are memorials for my 1st ever cat (I'm hunting for a good lookalike for my 2nd to hoard):

Then there are my hoards that remind me of my friends/family members and/or what they like (or used to like):

Hoards in honor of my son- (pps pony is unlimited)

Math dog for my husband b/c he started out as a math teacher-

Goats for my mom-

Tea & Koi for my brother-

Pugs for my sister-

Other than that, I have a couple of pound-only hoards that I started waaaay back when that challenge first started and just uuuh...don't really hunt for anymore? I haven't added to those hoards in YEARS. I just prefer to hunt for good fodder in the pound and when I can't find fodder, I unfortunately NEVER see these guys in there anymore:

there's just something so cute and calming about it and I want a ton of them. hopefully they aren't as hard to trade for as my other hoard pet?...crossing my fingers xP

I don't see any rules forbidding it so I have a request of this group.

So I quit CS a WHILE ago and recently had the urge to clear out my old account by gift bombing people I thought would appreciate it. You guys obviously collect pets and are active so I may or may not have been lightly stalking your group for targets over the past few days.

If I've already gotten you, hi, hello, I'm really glad you liked it! I collected these guys for years, I'm really glad to see them going to a good home and I'm glad I made you happy. That's why I'm doing this, I wanna share the joy.

If I HAVEN'T gotten you. Pretty pretty please shoot me a private message and let me know. I'll send you a trade. I'm trying not to hit the same person twice. Feel free to tell your active friends too.

As a general rule I'm going down your wishlist for a bit and then adding anything else I know you'll want if I have time (I'm doing this before work and on my lunch break for the most part). If you have a particular kind of pet you like LET ME KNOW. I'll try to get it to you.

Not all of these trades are created equal. Some people get 3 pets some get 90. Some get rare stuff, some get common. It's really a matter of how much time I have while I'm doing the individual trade. Consider it luck of the draw.

I'm not taking requests if I can help it because these trades are so high volume and they'll get cancelled if even one pet moves. (I'm actually giving away items too just at a much slower rate because it's harder to keep track of what I've got in a trade. If you'd like items and I haven't traded with you yet feel free to let me know).

Please no one offer me pets or items, since I'm trying to get rid of them lol

This is all first come first serve until I've got nothing left to give out!
