I never got scammed. Simple reason that when the trade system was actually implemented I knew quite well about rarities.

Ugh... I got this trade from a known user in the trade boards, and it just upsets me to no end. They know rarities of things and they scam people for their rares, however trying to scam me? That´s plain stupid. Well, here´s what the trade was. (They left no message either, which just makes me more pissed.)

I wouldn't be ranting except for the fact that yesterday I decided to be nice to person #2 by accepting a request for a Sept. light leopard, because someone gave me a free one when I was fairly new to this site. I guess it was stupid of me to think I wouldn't end up with more requests...

*hits head in wall* I had a person who made a trade a week ago wanting my blue grinning CS birthday pup.
I canceled the trade because they did not read my rules since they didn't add the words Purple Squirrels.
I also told them they didn't have anything I wanted and they didn't read my rules.

A week later [today] the same person wants the same pup typing pretty much the same identical. I had to take a double take once I read it cause I KNEW there message sounded really similar.... They said.
"'Purple Squirrels'
I understand but when I offer rare trades, I don't like to offer a pet cause people yell at me if they do not like the pet. If you can, please look through my pets. I know you will cancel but this is worth a try. Thanks."

I just added to my rules after I got this trade for people to offer when they they offer for rares
I won't be mean to them because they weren't talking in chat speak and were being nice but why would you re send the same trade if someone said no already? It's just the lack of common sense that is urking me.

Let's see, a valentine special for a dalmation super common. Some common rats for a super common GSD. Then an owl and a very recent PPS pup for an April Hyena? That's a very nice trade in your favor, but I guess everyone values things differently

I think you might not be noticing the multipliers.. like the dalmation was *3 . That thows it out of balance in my opinion. But yes I agree, everyone does value things differently.

I think what I'll do for some of those "search through my pets and find what you like" trade offers with nothing else in return, I'll do just what they say; I'll look through their list and depending on my mood, may either knock out all the rares they want and exchange for a more common/uncommon trade, or if they want a rare pet of mine and have a rare on my wishlist in their "up for trade group", edit the trade to add my wishlist pet.

Presently it seems my egg hunt bunnies are a hot trade request.. My wishlist pet is the green and black butterfly wolf... So beware if you try to request my rare pets without offering anything equal in exchange.

Someone sent for my skeleton bunny ad one of my cerebuses? cerebi? anyways they said they would trade all their pets for it, I looked at their pets and they were ALL from this month with a FEW from the month before.

So I added all the ones I wanted


Today I get "I didn't realize how many pets I had, I added more of your pets" they added my second cerebus.

I canceled the trade telling them that their pets were all from this month and therefore barely worth the first trade they sent and not to waste my time again.

I'll be holding onto the cerebus until someone will pay WC for it.

On average, how much would a Cerberus be worth? 08's right? Multiple 08's?



The best they have in their trade groups is two November 08's (that I have), and an Advent (that I don't have). They have nothing rarer than that, in any of their groups.
