Yes thats Right !!!___
I Love any from the Pets unless the raritie :) I dont will Missing only one Pet . And i very Happy i can have all Pets for Collect and any for make Hoards or Dresset Groups :)

I mean my favorite pets are the butterpups because they are awesome. I will be very very surprised if they go rare because I myself adopt 3-4 sets of each type and gotta an extra set of the toxic s. I have several extra of everything... lions included... most I got myself. Some I traded for.

yeah but still those raritys can changes alot during this month :D
Actually the rarity is calculated by the system and it knows what each pet will become as soon as it's adopted at the newborn stage. Whether they're newborn or adult, the system knows exactly how many of each pet there is on the site.
I can't imagine how many "urban legends" there are about how rarity is calculated. There's not some secret society that calculates rarity based on how awesome each pet is and it's not going to magically change as the month goes on. Once pets are retired, there are no more of them being put into the system. The only thing that increases the rarity of pets over time after they're retired is the addition of new members.

haha Katt! it does take a while to figure out that the rarity set by cs is only part of the worth of a pet over all and I think they meant as some pets are still in younger stages it might change a bit as they grow

Absolutely. I'm not here because of rarity - if I was, I'd hope I'd have completed my collection by now.
I think some of our most recent - and most common pets are the most attractive ever released on the site. And I'm glad they're common or uncommon because I can mini-hoard them more easily.

I didn't trade for much during the faire - I think I traded one burnt dog away, and received one in a trade. I traded one dragon dog away... that might be it. I wasn't around constantly - and even so I managed to get 75 butterfly dogs, 25 dragon dogs from the forest and 12 burnt dogs in total. I got 5 royal dog sets, 6 royal cat sets and 4 or 5 lion sets. So if that's an indication of how everyone else did on average, I'm not surprised there are no rares.

Rarity doesn't matter. They're all gorgeous. :D

Rarities also change...just because something is uncommon or common now does not mean they will stay that way. That's why you hold onto them. :)

It won't change just because they grow from newborn to adult though. The system knows what each pet is already in it's newborn stage. It doesn't have to wait till they grow up to see which outcome they are. It already knows what outcome each pet is before it grows! So some of the pets being juveniles yet has no bearing on the rarities. The system already knows what they will become.

Did anyone ACTUALLY think that a burnt dog from 2011 would be worth more than an '08 rare? o___O

I hope not. I knew they wouldn't be worth much in the end but my impatience won out and I traded a Pink Heart Advent for my first one just because I couldn't stand the fact that I was missing an outcome for a day or two. It didn't bother me though because I'd gotten another Pink Heart Advent from the Pound just days previously. So I looked at her as a free dog for a free dog. The trade made both of us happy so it's all good.
