i know im a little late to the party, but the rat from today is honestly shaping up to be one of my favorite pets ever! i individually like the other two rats, so im ecstatic to see a new rat that resembles them both

im a huge fan of the lines! the fluffy rats have such varied lineart and none of the ones i have use these specific lines. it makes them all feel unique and special. i especially enjoy the head area and the way these lines are colored. they really pull it together for me.
speaking of color, i love the colors! the darker base makes it easy to really appreciate the other colors and take in some of the finer details. plus im just a huge sucker for the blue, yellowy, and white combo.

i tend to really enjoy the april fools pets and this year truly hasnt disappointed! im excited to see how the cats turn out
