so guys, what does Auroria [lucky's cat] mean? since it's supposed to be related to hp, I guess it has to be either aurors or professor Aurora Sinistra. what about both? ^^'

Some people also theorised that the northern lights could be related
Those are the main guesses I've seen so far
There's got to be a reason that her cat is named Auroria rather than Aurora, though. Aurora would still have led to our thinking about the same couple of theories. What's special about Auroria? Unless it's just a name that lucky liked and that's that, but I dunno about them fishy GHs

I wanna guess this one is lucky's, because it has mismatched eyes like Mad-Eye Moody and it's missing part of its ear, like he was missing part of his nose. Auroria, auror.. I don't know, apparently crazy theories sometimes go in the right direction so might as well add my two cents.

Edit: also, I remember seeing something posted by lucky on like their tumblr, about shape shifting cats? That could point to the metamorphmagus Nymphadora Tonks who was also an auror.

She named it Auroria, instead of Aurora, to steer us away from both aurora borealis and Aurora Sinistra, but instead along the general female Auror lines. If you were to make Auror feminine (I know I.R.L. "Auror" spans both binaries and the whole spectrum, but hypothetically), you'd drop an a on the end- many languages are like that. But that would confuse us, because both the northern lights and Sinistra share that trait

There was a hint she dropped a bit ago while we were searching for the name of her cat. It's the last one under lucky333123 in the hint chart, the seemingly paradoxical one about how her cat is not what it seems, but not in the way most would expect because looks are deceiving
You know what that sounds like to me? Shape-shifting, or something like that. Combine that with female Auror, and the first thing I thought of was Tonks. What's her ability to transform called? Well, she's a Metamorphmagus. That sounds like metamorphosis to me, which also is related to transformation
And there's only one cat with that metamorph link- the butterfly kitten, which does use multiple colours, and none of her hints disprove it

Of course, I could be wrong but that's the best thing I could come up with

Very nice theory! However, when I mentioned looks are deceiving I was trying to put it into context with HP so there are some nice flaws with your theory I will say that your theories are quite off, but nice try. I really do like the theories you have come up with. They are honestly pretty cool! I can't wait to see what you come up with next! Since I am using transparent text I will let you know that my kitty is not the pixel kitty *starts laughing* Sorry, couldn't help myself.
