a '16 store pet is worth an early '09 rare

Hello, can anyone tell me what this pet is called as well as what it's worth?
I want to start putting away pets to offer as a trade for one if I ever get the chance but I'm not sure where to even begin so far as it's value.
I know that it's a 2013 very rare store pet, but I know that demand also plays into a pet's worth.
I just generally find the values a bit confusing so I'm unsure haha.

this particular pet is called the Dark Spirit Kitsune. It is worth roughly a mid advent (7-8 '09 rares) with its demand.

a non is a form of measurement on the rares list! a non is worth roughly 10-12 mid advents (MAs) or about 100-150 09 rares
nons are also worth two sorbs (one sorb is worth 5-7 MAs, ~50-75 09 rares , this is what people mean when they say half a non) (half a sorb which is .25 nons is worth 3-4 MAs which is ~ 25-37 09 rares)

with that all out of the way, your horse is an extended release horse (which means it was available from september 08 - may 09) so it should be worth two 09 rares w 3 month rule c:

The Red X PPS first turned very rare in March 2010 x - pets which turned very rare at a similar time include the Dark Leopard, Skeleton PPS, and Dogtag Bunny x
The pet is commonly valued at ~2-3 MAs, with trade evidence showing that it has fetched up to 0.25 nons [3-4 MAs] x

The first pup is the Pink October Moon [Red October Moon for search function], the pup first turned very rare in March 2013 x - the pet would be a fair swap for other pets which turned very rare at a similar time including Whitestorm, the Mismatch Green October Dog, and the Red and Blue Aussie PPS pups. Because of how early the pet turned very rare, by purely rarity considerations the pet would likely be worth slightly more than the usual three month rule [~3 '09 rares], however not everyone trades by such strict rarity considerations.
If treated more generally, the pet would be worth the three month rule or 2 '09 rares + 1 '10 rare.

The associated Nick pup would be worth the three month rule. In the case of both pets, any additional value on the part of demand would be up to trading users. ^^
