I decided to order the numbers based on the order of the alphabet:

(Spring’s original order)

No idea what the 0 could mean, it could be a space.

Or: since spring pointed out it was a ten:

Numbers in pet names usually mean that they grew from their newborn stage at that age. I do this to keep track in case of splits (and with those pesky cocoons, of course). It means nothing.^^
If I got the pet from somebody else, chances are they named it. I rarely bother with changing the names of pets I receive in trades.
