I doubt the burnt dog will be rare. I reckon high demand made them seem harder to get, people didn't want to trade them. But you never know, look what happened with the Tess Dragon...
I don't think there'll be many rares from the Faire though, maybe only the green dragon dog?

Well, the Tess Dragon -was- extremely hard to get. But the Burned dog, well, I myself own 26 of them... lufik12 has more than 100... and many others got at least one.
I don't think the Tess Dragon is a good comparison.

Yes, it -is- one of the rarer pets from the Faire, but still...

The green Tess dragon is definitely not a good comparison.
It was available for less than a week? and the adoption limit was 5? with 3 other pets from that gift. (Correct me if my memory fails XD)
The burnt dog was available for 3 weeks and there where no adoption limit. Yes, it was random if you got it or not but still... 3 weeks is a long time.
I doubt it will be rare, but if any faire pets goes rare then that one is probably one of them.

I wasn't using the tess dragon as a comparison on rarity. I was just pointing out that many believed it would not turn out rare, but it did, then very rare quite quickly. I know the circumstances between the dragon and the dog were very different :3

The dragon dogs are difficult, I doubt any will end up rare because I got tons of green and black but I saw a discussion about this somewhere else somebody claimed they thought one colour and someone else would always state they had found almost nothing BUT that colour, to me I seemed to get them all the same.

There are a few July pets that I've only seen a few of but they'll likely just end up uncommon.

Question though as I don't know, why/how do things change rarity once they've already had a rarity assigned? Is it based on how many users there are? Or if some have been pounded, I know there are a ton of 08's still in the pound account, does anyone know if they count towards rarity is it's anything to do with users?

and yes I really have more as 100 burn dog and I got these only in ONE week... so I really don't think that will rare...

The burnt dog might not turn rare with this update, but I would hang onto it, as it will definitely be rare sometime in the future. Also, it's rather popular from what I've seen of all the scrambling to get one, so I am sure it will be worth it to hang onto your extras if you have any.

Oh also, I got a just crap ton of black and red BW, actually I got tons of everything BUT the green one I only got 3 out of 26 so possibly green?
