1. Ebi fry udon! The soup udon is usually not too rich in flavor and the prawn is just so I can chew on something crunchy

2: 100% watermelon, 🍉🍉🍉, I have a bit of a watermelon obsession 👀 I have a watermelon beanbag, watermelon bed sheets, coasters, clothes, lanyard, decor, rug (among other things)

3: Im gonna go with cats or snakes 👀👀👀👀👀 pretty basic choices but they're too cute 😩

- every time I do a pride themed litter I'm incredibly excited for people to see it grow and hopefully see themselves in it. My specific favorite pride pet is the lesbian flag rooster. I was also super excited when I did my autism awareness/acceptance rats!
- I mostly think about it when I'm placing the CS tag, because I want items to be easy to use. I also think about how common items will be affected by certain edits.

Oh lord I feel called out on this one LOL

1) I definitely do but I will not yet reveal which one - I will say though I was very excited for those bun tails to come out so I could do these dress ups with the ponchos (Also the butterfly dragons I really enjoyed making and was excited to be released hehe)


2) I mostly think about what items we're lacking & try to make a variety of colours but I don't think of specific pets for them but I am also not much of an item artist I do more pets than anything

Seems like such a silly answer but I was most excited about the very first litter I made for CS!
It was my “swimming pool” theme butterfly wolf litter
I had this idea for so long that the bwolf wing pattern looked like water and I was so excited to make my idea into actual pets!


Besides that I would say I was probably most excited for the release of my “big and fluffy” dog breeds for advent!
I spent a lot of time trying to make sure the dog breeds looked recognizable but still held that CS style charm.
I absolutely love dogs and the variety of unique dog breeds out there and I was really excited to share that (:
Plus I just love the idea of making pets that could look like someone’s pets in real life and mean something special to them <3



*Edit: Oops forgot to answer the second question! I don’t make many items but when making new pets I always try to think of previous pets and check out the archives to make sure I’m not making something too similar to what has already been released

I don't make tons of things, but I actually have an answer to this so C:

I was really excited to release my litter in June 2021! I was just really happy how the designs came out and really excited to get to share them with everyone! And 4/5 of the outcomes apply to me so I was excited to give those some visibility C:

Of the few items sets I have made, my main focus was more on making variations for lots of species and making them versatile and easy to use for a large variety of things. I'm actually not great at getting creative with dressups, but I love seeing other people's creativity and I like to make something that would fill in a hole, an item we don't have yet or aren't easy to get anymore, that could be used for more than just one thing.

Probably easier to explain if I show rather than tell ^^' I made the horn and spiderweb set and the scale and fin sets for Halloween 2019. The second set ended up excessively large, but I wanted there to be individual pieces so they could be used on their own for more than just one type of dressup. Like technically the set might be for a 'fish' costume, but scales and spiked fins could be used for just a general reptilian look, and with the horn set I tossed in extra individual spikes at various angles so they could be mixed and matched for different looks. Always make me smile when I see someone using them <3

First part:-
Pets: My first halloween foxes (2022)! I believe it was the first batch of pets I've done as an official artist. I really wanted to make a good first impression and was so anxious about it's release. Pets are not really my forte for designing, but Halloween was probably the best time my imagination could play around.

Items: My Cyberpunk store set, I've always love the theme but working on it was...something I disliked; I felt like my skill could not match up with all the geometric shapes and consistencies required. So I thought I was setting myself up for a sub-par set when I picked up my pen. :'> On the day I finally completed the set I was just so ecstatic it turned out better than I had expected, I really couldn't wait for the next month to roll in.

Second part:-
Not really, I tend to check through the archive to see whether or not my idea has already been made. If it's not I go ahead, if it is I'd most likely drop the idea- unless its an item then I might continue with it just to expand the series. Could I consider doing items based of a pet? Yea why not, but someone would probably have to suggest the pet haha

How has your life changed over the course of your time with chicken smoothie? Tess has been here for 15 years, which I imagine has meant a lot of life changes, how has chicken smoothie played a role in that, and how have your interactions on the site changed as you've gotten older?
For me, I started playing when I was in early HS because my younger sibling got me hooked on here, and recently have come back as a way to get away from some of the college stress and the sense of community(plus my brain just likes collecting things). I know my life has changed a lot over the years I've been a member here and would love to hear some from a staff perspective.

I joined CS when I was in college and didn't really know what I was going to do with my life, but I wanted to become a teacher. 12 years later I am not a teacher (my day job that pays the bills is really boring but it works for me), but I am married (to the person I was with at the time I joined!) and really found my place in the world as a poet and queer community organizer. I also just bought a house! I move next week.

When I was younger I was definitely able to relate to and chat/roleplay with regular forum users more than I can now, but I still try! I now see my role on CS more the way you would see a teacher's role because moderators and staff end up helping and teaching the users about our rules and community. This does put me at a bit of distance from users, but I've found it's what works the best. I still love playing the game itself; it's just relaxing to be able to collect and hoard little pixel pets and know they will always be there for you. <3 The artists have really been outdoing themselves lately!

Fun fact, I don't think I ever really would have made art without CS; the only drawing I ever do is for CS pets.
