This one Easter many, many years ago had animal eggs that were so cool that no one honestly cared that much about the event tokens. Everyone wanted the animal eggs SO BAD that people were often getting furious they’d found a token instead. The system up until 1-2 years ago was like this. Animal eggs were not priority finds but more for fun. This one year was the worst I had ever been in (note that I’m an ‘11 user so I missed 2009-2010 animal eggs). It was legit like an animal egg desert.
The users were seriously so mad about this that CS eventually decided to have an hour where all the banners being hunted were 100% just animal eggs. They told us I think a few days ahead so we could all prepare. If I remember correctly, they also reduced the wait time to like 15 minutes a banner.
It was basically spiraling into a mutiny within an Easter event. Not specifically at staff, more the system.
It took a second for me to even remember this because it was so long ago. Even now I still remember how I was a minute away from another banner when the hour was up.
That was in 2014. There was a whopping 18 animal eggs that year! 10 normal animal eggs and 8 of that alternate tilted animal egg (like this
).I had completely forgotten about animal egg hour until someone mentioned it recently and only vaguely remember participating. But yeah 18 animal eggs with a final banner limit of 250, that is absoultely wild. No wonder people went a little batty that Easter xD
