The rarest pet I ever had was a cookie dog (which I’m not trying to get back) which I got from a person who was quitting. I got a bunch of other rares from her too, including my current auction that I haven’t posted yet.

im on mobile and too lazy to do images, but i have received a lot of valuable pets over the years so i figured id share.
back in 2017, i was gifted a green liontail, raven, and patchwork from a user who was quitting. it was insane to get a gift so high in value, but at the time i didnt know about the list, and ended up trading them all away for wayyyy less than theyre worth.
ive had 2 very lucky dec 18th adoptions, which got me my UR Peas and Flower/Toxic Rat. I lost my entire dang mind when i got those bad boys lol.
and finally, my sunjewel, dingus. i got him in a simple trade up =)

off the top of my head: a quitting user gave me a lot of VR buns. I didn't know what was going on lol but I was so happy. and later on, I understood the weight of the gift.
I'm ok at trading. I never enter the VR+ territory when trading up so instead I enter art competitions/commissions/adoptables to get nice pets

when i'd only been here for like a year someone just wanted a bunch of bulk WL pets and items from me for a grevy's zebra rerelease and didn't mind that it was under

other goodies i've gotten from quitting users and are now part of my permanent collection :]

i actually just recieved my most valuable pet about 20 minutes ago so this was the best time for me to see this thread <3

a bit of backstory first, this pet isn’t the rarest pet ive had, but in terms of being valuable to me personally this is like.. it. this is the most valuable thing ive ever had. ever. i joined chicken smoothie in 2013 and chicken smoothie helped me a lot. it helped me get over hard times i was going through, it helped give me something to do when i couldnt face real life, not to make things too sad of course but chicken smoothie helped a lot. so, when i first joined i remember using this exact profile picture.
and i was obsessed with it. i used it for years (until i realized i could upload my own pfp hehe) but i was always obsessed with the ceg/beg. every trade i would ever make was just thinking about how i could eventually get it up to a ceg/beg.

and then. finally. 9 years later.
so much has happened, and ive went on hiatus and ive come back multiple times, and ive been going through one of the most stressful times of my life lately. getting this pet means so much more than just pixels to me, it means that no matter what i go through and no matter how hard it gets its okay to still be me. its okay to still love the things ive always loved, i dont have to change for anyone. i know youre probably thinking Wow it really isnt that serious please calm down but No!!!! it is that serious to me <3
