Yeah, it's been pretty toned-down and boring. I only really look forward to the events.
And the only thing I've actively been using this place for is the oekaki feature.

Honestly event events aren't as exciting anymore? I remember when I joined Egypt event was my first and favourite actually, but then space event came along with even more quirky pets and don't get my started on the candy event. But recently even the summer events have been pretty toned down, and I don't blame the staff as they do have a life outside of CS but it still feels like this site is dying.

Me and someone else discussed this over PM but back in the day it was so rare to see someone leaving this game, but now people are just leaving like flies.

Collecting the pets is getting boring. So are the events. I don't feel the need to participate like i used to. There's no point in trading, because it seems as nobody ever follows your rules anyways.

Sometimes it feels as if i can't even post anything, because i'm afraid of what i'm saying being against the rules in some way, shape or form. This may be moderated, but i don't care, i'm gonna say it, i feel like we can't even give the site criticism sometimes, because of the lack of freedom on speech.

I love this website, i really do. I've been an active user on and off for 6 years, but there really are glaring problems that need to be addressed and fixed.

CS is indeed dying, as I've mentioned before I used to have an old account that I literally forgot the password and username to so just decided to start fresh and I've noticed how many people have been leaving due to certain things, from the lack of freedom on speech, to how collection pets isn't as fun anymore, to how people value their pets highly but expect you to give up yours for less than what they are worth.

Trading is becoming something that I least enjoy on this site by how many times people have tried offering low demand pets for my red blood flop dog, while it's not a OMGSR it's still valued highly is what I'm told and people expect me to give it to them for less than it's worth.

You see as someone who never understood the demand and can't get their head wrapped around it, it is really difficult to trade people only basing it off the rarity, years etc, it don't really matter to me because I don't understand the concept of it, if it helps I even failed maths in highschool twice and gave up haha.

But trading is just becoming so hard now, especially now that a lot of players that I see all have pages and pages of VR or the same store pet and I can't trade them because I got nothing in return, this just sometimes make me wish we had two trade threads that just purely for people who trade VRs and above, and I don't mean it as in like a guide or a small forum, but that would be impossible and is just a really random idea that popped in to my head today while trying to trade.

With the list being taken donw, the "richer" players keep going by it and the players with less pets dont. SO?
With things like that, people with not many rares have no chance at getting lists unless someone generously gives a list to someone, which is super unlikely. A lot of people hoard really rare pets which is greedy and unfair.
I get hoarding commons, but rares+??

I can agree with hoarding the rares, I saw someone hoard 15 UR cucumbers and that's cool you know, you wanna hoard them go for it, but please leave some for other players as well. And I'm not gonna make this a rant, but I agree with you 100% I had few lovely people gift me VR and I only now started keeping track of them sadly but it is my dream to own an OMGSR and without Dec. 18th that just seems impossible to me, as at most right now I can offer few recent easter rares and a bunch of uncommon and loads of VR commons and bellow.

And with the pound it just seems like sometimes, the rarer players get to snag up all the rares as well, the amount of times where the one odd WL I wanted got snagged in the second the pound loaded just kinda makes me lose hope in those kind of things.

I've been here since so many years and honestly, I like the community now more than ever. The diversity of people is great. I've encountered some strange and/or rude ones, but that's to be expected in a place where so many people are active at the same time. I've also talked to some really great people.
When it comes to trading, though, there are some problems. I also feel like the discontinuition of the list caused problems, I'm not sure how to trade my list pets anymore or how to get list pets from my wishlist. It doesn't feel like being freed from something.

I disagree about the pound. Just put the rares on your wishlist and be there when the pound goes online. Might not work first try but I’ve got loads of rares and very rares over the years that way. If you're active and actively trading there’s lots of opportunities to get older rares and at some point lists/omgsr. You just need to apply yourself and actually spend the time on that. If you’re not willing to do that then you honestly don’t get to complain.
I agree about the hoarding though. Especially of older pets.
