Was i the only one hoping the dog with the blanket, Tonights outcome would be a pps... Or NOT a horsedog? I love the idea behind it! Don't get me wrong! but....... It looked like it could have been something else...

I am absolutely in love! I've been anticipating this little guys growth since he was first a pup. Lilian, your art never ceases to amaze me... The line art, the colouring, the shading, the concept, everything... Definitley my favourite this year. I can honestly say I was not a huge fan of this years palette until your pet grew. They work together so nicely on this guy... I'm amazed, really.

No, I don't believe she is. Horses are usually big like that. Last year, Lilian did this
which didn't have the baby at first; but a few days later it "gave birth" and there it was.
I don't think she'd do the same thing twice in a row uou

*scoffs* I'm still not happy with her, but I'm glad you guys seem to like her design.

I think I'm really calling her Lucille in the end, it kinda fits her.

Think about it this way: if you don't like her design, it encourages you do do even better in the next litter! (Or next month, seeing as you're an official artist)

Dog version of a centaur :) I don't see the problem with it. Wouldn't be able to walk on the Dog paws but could be more 'werewolf' like in the upper half, and walk on the Horse legs, like any normal centaur.

Dog cross Horse isn't any worse from Human cross horse in my books, just might look a tad unusual
Maybe people were expecting more of a Hippogriff (4 Legs, front two Dogs, Back two Horse), But there were many thinking centaurian, myself as well, so isn't too big of a surprise.

The connection between the Wolf and Horse body looks a little awkward, but I can't imagine it is an easy thing to try and draw, and on a small scale. so I really think that this has been done well given how difficult it would be.

I will miss the Pup design however, but still I may be hoarding the adult :)

You shouldn't be discouraged at all Lillian. You've done a wonderful job for such a challenging design, and a unique one at that. The lines are smooth, the colouring is brilliant, your horse anatomy looks great.

I actually Prefer this over your last Year Staff pet whose front feet always threw me off. Its always good to push your artistic ability in order to improve :) the more challenging, the more practice and the more that you will learn.
