Today's growth is mine, yes! B)c
They were heavily inspired by my family, similarly to my staff dog, Mariko, from last year. Growing up in a Japanese-American household, both the Western and Chinese Zodiacs played a big role for my family. It was difficult to combine all of the numerous zodiacs that made up my family into a singular pet's design, so I decided to pick a couple to focus on. Her base design is inspired by the Rooster and Aries signs, with a Taurus/Ox and Dragon/Pisces inspired masks.
Her name is Kaoru, after my late grandfather, who was quite the stubborn Rooster himself ^^ Though, her nickname is Ai, which roughly translates to affection in Japanese!
