And thus ends this year's November Staff Pup litter :'D

My favorites had to be these two:

I just love the simplicity on this pet! Those deep green eyes are so amazing.

...I'm not sure why I love this guy so much. I don't even like butterflies that much! It must be how unique it is. <3

But that's just my opinion all of the staff did such a wonderful job especialy the ones who had to redo the lines did an awesome job at that

Well.. I am not allowed to repost my question.... so I suppose I will ask it more bluntly. What are those things on each side of the antlers?

Love Plumas dog... Love the antlers... and I even like the butterfly and wings... one of the few I guess. Not a fan of the eyes... but still one of my fave dogs..

Awwwwww I'm so pleased to see people liking the dog YvY~ Better go into some detail about the design etc. now that it's finally grown~

It was not meant to look like a specific animal, like a deer, jackalope, donkey or whatever. It was my plan at first to make a deer out of it, but I didn't felt my art skill was good enough to pull it off. Kinda like the Gryphon lines. I had big trouble making hooves too that looked good, so I only gave it some deer features, as the antlers for example.
Then I started going more for a "Forest Spirit" kinda theme. Therefore not making it look like a specific animal. It was fun to see all your guesses on what it was though
And about all the details on it, some sees an unnecessary for it... I can agree. I'm simply just a sucker for details, that's all, haha xD

Oh my gosh he is amazing. :0 He is tied with the Unicorn of last year for my fave of all time...

My favourites:

Pet's name: Gillyweed (Clowesia)
I love him <3 At first, I disliked him a lot. But he just grew on me.. those golden eyes, that pouty expression, the simple but suiting blue markings. His markings make me think of tiles in Atlantis.

It's something about the fluff, the snow, the sparkles.. <3

I really disliked the pup stage (the ears were just... off to me), but I am in love with the adult <3 The eyes, wings, butterfly, horns, and markings are very unique, and complex without being out of order.

Pet's name: Prince Caspian (Seclouth)
Those shining, golden eyes *o* And those sweet clothes <3 He's so well done <3

Pet's name: Classical Fantasies (Drizzle)
I love the marlins, and the way they flow off into the background is unique and stunning <3 I'd love to dress her up with some birds and music notes, but I'm out ATM. <3

I love all the others two, but these five take the cake <3 Best staff litter yet!

My two favorite are:

So fluffy! I finished playing the main quest of Skyrim the day he grew, so it just really stuck out.

and


I really like the non-fluffy line edits, and this just seems very Last Airbender ish to me.

Overall, I feel like the more-muted color palate of this year's litter led to more extreme line-art edits and accessory use than previous years. I really like 90% of the edits, but don't really feel like the colors were used to their full extent, if that makes any sense.

I think this would have been my favorite outcome (might still be), but it feels a little unbalanced. The antlers, long ears, feathers, wings, and ties are all in the same area, which makes him seem pretty top-heavy, especially with the smallish tails. (I think it would have been perfect minus the wings and ties, as nice as they are.) Otherwise, I think it is beautifully designed and I'm a sucker for adopts with antlers <3

I had a few favorites this year.


I love this guy, he makes of me think of one of those wandering characters from a fantasy novel. So intricate, and yet simple... much love for this guy.

I love this guy, too! So unique with those paws, wings and tails. Beautifully done.


I love mythological creatures. And this dog is just awesome. Kinda reminds me of the store costume.


I love this guy. Enough said.


I love the big wings and face, personally. The tail is adorable, and the background adds to the effect.


So emotional, this girl. Her double wings are perfect, the hair adds balance and those bracelets are a nice detail. Nothing negative about this outcome.


I simply love this guy. The antlers, wings, tails, design are just divine. I wasn't expecting this from my deer pup.


So pretty. Enough said.

The other dogs were awesome too, but these guys stood out in my opinion. <3
