I've locked everything except for my trade groups, as otherwise people kept sneaking my own pets into trades as well as the ones from the trade folders. I still get the occasional PM, but those are easily dealt with if I don't want to trade the pet. For some reason I've never had a problem with people sending impolite trade messages/PMs, probably because I'm way too polite about the ridiculous trades - I'm always nice to them and try to help them understand how things work, and it pays off sometimes. I got my winged wood dog for a common November through what started as a newbie trade. ^^

*coughs* Late reply, I know. x_x So I was hunting around the site last month for some people that never post, but have a lot of pets.. because they've been here for a long time. I happened to see this person with 3 Dark Shima PPS's, and sent her one of those "Edit me." trades for one (the message was actually longer than just edit me x3). And she just accepted it like "It's okay, you can take it! [smileyfacehere]". So er.. that's the kind of people I like trading with. xD Yeah, I'm so evil. But you would think someone who has been on the site since last August would have visited the forum by now if they cared enough... c:

Inevitably when someone's spelling is that bad, English is actually their first language. People who don't know it as well usually take more time to get it right, whereas those who actually speak it just don't care and think spelling/grammar/punctuation doesn't matter because 'everyone knows what I'm trying to say anyway'. Or rather: 'eyveorne noes wut im triin to sya nweay'.

Well, i canceled and told them he wasn't for trade and i had just forgotten to lock the group.

I forgot to lock the group because i had origonally had him is a group called "favorite pets ever" but then i deleted that and made a group called "october-08-specials" and i forgot to lock it after i put him in it. >.<
