The closest in appearance that I can find is the Corona Australis (Southern Crown), though if the Cocoons are any clue, this should be a Constellation in the Northern Hemisphere...

Course, it could just be 'STARS PRETTY', which is also valid XD

I'm glad we got an otter pps, but I wish there were more colour on it. I vastly prefer the outcomes with more orange and a bit of teal this litter. Kinda sad the PPS looks more like someone splashed three and a half drops of paint on it

I do really like the otter pps we got but have to agree that this one would have been a stunning pps

For the butterfly wolf, the closest constellation I could find is Auriga, but it also reminds me of a part of Perseus, but neither are an exact match. (Sorry I can’t attach any images)

I'm not normally the biggest fan of horses in general. Beautiful animals but not my thing, you know?

Yes, there should be 3 outcomes.
What I've found is that if there's an adoption limit of 5, there's usually 3 different outcomes with a duplicate of 2.

Can confirm that the butterfly wolves unfortunately aren't inspired by any direct constellations and are rather just a simple "STARS PRETTY ✧∘* ✧･ﾟ" yes! xD

That being said, if there's any constellations that they're similar to, I definitely do enjoy hearing about them! One can never learn enough about astronomy after all <3

Auriga is an old world constellation, and one of the modern 88!! It is most visible in the Northern Hemisphere and is also known as the Charioteer, representing the son of Hephaestus and founder of Athens, Erichthonius--who was the inventer of said chariot, according to Myth. Of course, this is just one of many versions of the tale of this constellation!

Corona Australis, or Southern Crown, similarly is most visible in the southern hemisphere. It is often connected with Sagittarius, either having fallen off his head or being discarded arrows he had held in his hand. In Roman myth, Bacchus placed this wreath in the sky to honor his human mother.
