I like how it's October and we're getting mostly pastel-colored pets. Not.

This months pets look pretty awesome! I haven't done a pet review for a while, so here goes.


I quite like the owls. They remind me of honeycomb chocolate xD
The design is pretty and simple, and I'm actually interested to see what they will be.


Ok, these guys could be anything! Maybe dominoes? I doubt it though xD
I do love back-and-white designs, and I will be keeping an eye on this litter!


First thing I thought: shortbread. I don't know why, but these guys remind me of Christmas and shortbread biscuits. I'm interested to see what they actually are.

I'm guessing they're based off something, but what? At first I thought birds, but we just had a bird-dog litter...
The speckles around their necks lead me to believe they might be lizards, but I really don't know. Also, those green pawpads? This litter is confusing me!


Wow. I mean...wow. I am pretty much speechless over this litter! I am a complete sucker when it comes to glowy designs, and this litter had me hooked at first sight! They remind me of fireflies. They're so beautiful, and the artist did an amazing job! I think it was Leurai... Well done! I will certainly be keeping my eyes on this litter!


Hmmm...world-based horses? They seem to be the colours of the Earth...
I don't know though. They could be anything! xD
I'm not a massive fan of horses and ponies, but I'm curious to see them grow.


Well...natural base colours with coloured markings? I really like designs like that! They're always really pretty. I can't wait to see what they're gonna be like!


These guys remind me of waves or wind. I’m usually not a fan of Butterfly Wolves, but I think I’d like to see these ones grow.


I fell in love with the ratties at first sight! I’m calling them party rats xD
They look fun and lively, and I love all of their colours together! I can’t wait for them to grow!


Last, but not least is the second-gens. I actually really love the parents of the second-gens, so I was happy to see these pups. I got three, but I assume there are four outcomes, since everyone is getting four xD
Anyway, they’re all really pretty and I love the soft colours.


As for the store bunnies, they look amazing! I only wish I had C$! It is nice to see other animals in the store other than dogs and horses.

This month looks promising with all the pets, not to mention Halloween! I can't wait! c:

D'awww, adorable litters this month! <3 This is my first real pet review, so here goes! <3

I have a feeling these pups are going to have realistic markings... but a tribal theme! <3


I LOVE the second gens, I mean a Pink Cookie Advent and a Cookie dog? Awesome <3


Really not sure, but I like the simple black-and-white theme here.


Reminds me of the striped sheets at some hotels xD but I like the stripe colors, going from dull brown to gold to pink, and the head has some faint markings, it looks promising! <3


Thank goodness there seems to be no lions this month, 3 months of madness is enough for me. They look aleinish, and seem to have a watery glow effect. Very interested in this months kittens! <3


What I see here is very... interesting. Simple, hard edges with blue, green, white, and tan. Reminds me of a painting, or a field, I just can't put my finger on it... interesting, though. c:


Hmm, tribalish striped ponies! I'm kind of tired of striped equines though, to tell the truth. We've had rainbow ponies in March, Wood-looking ponies in May, Rainbow striped ponies and punkish-simple horses in June, random-looking string looking ponies in August, and Striped glow horses in September. I'd like to see some more natural colored horses or something, I know when you're an artist it's hard to make designs for four years every month, but maybe something other than stripes would be nice. c: Trust me guys, I get artblock too. but maybe tone down the stripes and some more natural-themed equines next month, like the horses of March but with some unnatural markings <3


Oh, the butterbabies! Love them. They seem to have a watery/wind/bluish theme, wonderful toned swirls encircle this little one's body. We'll have to wait till the adult though to find out, as they're second stage doesn't usually give anything away! <3


these little guys, to me, only have one word about them: fiesta. They just seem like a Spanish party, don't you think? they've got a colorful tan and blue base with little brightly colored swirls and markings, I think I'm gonna need to get out my maracas for this litter! <3


As usual, you can't tell much with the eggs- but this month's owl litter looks nice. a deep, chocolate brown with rich golden spots that vary in size, these eggs seem to be cozy for the cold weather to come in most places.

I agree, steampunk owls would be nice for a change, like maybe robotic parts on some of them or very shiny beaks, or maybe each one completely made out of nails, screwdrivers, wood pieces, goggles, or something of the sort <3

And spiders, oh spiders. Please don't go :c I love you, and I hoard you, and I really hope Tess has decided to keep 'em! I know many people don't enjoy the spiders, and some would rather prefer other pets like birds[parrots, cockatoos, not owls], snakes, cows, geese, or something else, but I love watching them grow every month with their other buddies in my hoard. </3

The spiders are retiring cause the artist who does them is retiring if I remember what I read right.

Actually, Malk created the lineart for the Spiders and Owls, but hasn't been doing the monthly coloring of them really for the last couple of years. She only did it once this year, in March I believe. But since she retired officially last month Tess said they were thinking they would retire the Spiders and Owls for new pets, but I don't believe anything was ever confirmed. There just might not be any because there will be a lot for Halloween, like what happened with the Butterfly Wolves in July and with the Beach Adventure.
