Nerdy and comfortable. With jeans that are too long because I forget what size to buy. So 95% of my non-work wardrobe is nerd stuff (games, comic books, etc.), and the rest is animals, planes, cars, or "I bought this for a cosplay but it's plain enough that I can wear it now".

I have a collection of Avengers Christmas shirts and I have been loving being able to wear them to work this month.

I have to admit my favourite staff member is an ex-staff member. =(
Which also means I have a new favourite now! My favourite staff member is totally Totoro. I don't love anybody as much as Totoro. Nobody made me say this, especially not Totoro. Totoro is the best.

hello! some questions:

if you could own any shop (ex: coffee store, toy shop), what would you own and why?

if you could ride any animal (with their consent, harmlessly) what would you ride? (giant, island-sized sea turtles count)

if you could turn any inanimate object into a CS pet, what would it be?

I do actually own a shop! I sell pins and stickers
I know a really inordinate amount about older pokemon merchandise, and I would love to run a shop where I had stuff in stock for the more obscure pokemon that don't get a lot of love. Really specific, I know, lol!
I also would love to run an indie comics shop with a bunch of small-press zines.

I would ride a giant beetle. Like a silt strider from the elder scrolls!

To anyone who sings (or even those who don't lol):

Are you a soprano, alto, tenor, or bass? Do you know your vocal range? :eyes:

I don't sing, but I think I'm an alto! My voice is currently breaking though so ask this one again in a year

Dama pinged me to see this question and it made me smile!!
It's a lot deeper now! It's still mid-break though, so I don't really know how to identify where on the range it is lol. But when I sing I'm in a lower octave - I can sing some of the male parts in duets now where I couldn't before. I'll see if I can find some little voice clips!

1) My family and I would go to the circus every year before [record scratching noises]. They're lots of fun!!

No custom, sorry! I was supposed to be spending my first Christmas with my girlfriends' family, but that became impossible because of you-know-what. I couldn't see my nieces either, so I spent Christmas Eve wrapping some extra presents up for them (they liked their Elsa dresses!) and I watched Home Alone for the first time. On the big day I got on CS in the morning, and my family and I did presents and watched Stuart Little!

1. My mascot Anover is my custom and he lives in my signature! He also has my real bird as a buddy because I wanted to include her too, she's an Indian ringneck parakeet! :>

2. Nothing fancy this year unfortunately, usually we'd visit my grandparents but my sister tested positive earlier in the week so we've been isolating instead
(We're all good though! She was asymptomatic, it could've been a false positive but much better to err on the side of caution regardless)

Asked for a carpet cleaner and I got one! Only,, it looked as though it'd been sitting in someones garage for a decade, probably because it had lol, it was filthy but I finished cleaning it earlier today and it looks almost brand new! Probably sounds like a lame gift but I can't stress enough how handy they are for fursuiters :P

My partner wins the prize for best gift this year though, look at how precious this little guy is!!! They made a clay model of my fursona :D

My fashion taste is very much kitsch, I love bright colours and 'so bad it's good' is absolutely the aesthetic I go for. I pretty much exclusively buy secondhand so I have a fair few quirky vintage finds!! This jacket is by far my favourite of those, I love it to bits so I doubt I'll ever be able to find anything to top it

How has the amount of messages or trades you get evolved from before being a staff to after? Have you been getting more or less of them? Do people tend to be more polite? Or has there really been no noticeable changes?
Because from a non-staff perspective, it's always quite impressive receiving a trade from a staff member haha, the colored name really has something that makes your heart stop for just a second-

hello :) i’ve only been staff for nearly a year, but i definitely received more trades/messages from all cs members when I first became staff as congrats- our community is so kind !!!! but for the most part, it’s a very normal cs experience in the other ways you’ve listed.

When I first became a staff member, I received lots of trades from users. However, after a few weeks they petered out and now I very rarely receive trade offers unless I'm advertising a very popular pet. The amount of PMs haven't changed.

Before becoming a staff member, I was the same, getting super stoked to receive a trade offer from a coloured name! Now, I just see it as a friend shooting a trade my way :)

I was a huge fan of scene/emo fashion in the 2000's, which kind of evolved into an emo/alternative style as trends changed. I love pastel goth because it combines black and pastels. That being said, I've slowly "normalized" my wardrobe over the years as I've started my career and I was getting tired of being mistaken for a child (I'm quite short ;_; )

I used to get a lot more trades as a GH - I thought maybe people were scared to send me trades? Then again, I don't have a lot of trading to do; I only need 80-some more pets to complete my collection, so the only time I actively trade is when I'm swapping for missed outcomes or sending out trades for a hoard.

That being said, posting on the swap thread can be a bit overwhelming; I'll blink and have 9 trades! The auto-cancel feature is great because I would feel super guilty canceling all those trades. I'm not sure if that's because I'm a staff member though, since the swap thread is quite popular.

I'm partial to 70's inspired fashion but I mostly just wear sweatpants and work clothes these days lol
