A fairly tempting offer was made on my eggs 2 & 4 today, I declined because they're not for trade.
I would have actually considered the offer though.

Because there were much fewer users on CS back in Easter 09. You had to hunt for them, so not even every user got them. Since then, a lot more users joined, many that had those eggs went inactive, and items aren't re-released like pets. So there's not a lot of them that are being traded around and unless CS has item re-releases at some point, there will never be more in circulation. It may help to think of them like store pets, purely in the sense that they don't get re-released and will get more and more rare as time goes on. Plus... a lot of people prefer pets over items and items don't have rarity labels, so often times people don't realize how rare they're getting until they're already "so expensive."

Thank you! I still don’t get it though. I mean, all I need are 1-4 for the entire egg collection. But that’s 4 none worth it seems? And it seems kind of much. Even if I valued items more than pets! Thank you for your answer though, I appreciate it.

No, only animal eggs 1 and 2 go for that much (more or less). Eggs 3 and 4 go for less, around a september pet each. You can read our discussion about it a few pages back. It probably seems like a lot because people don't often (or like to) trade away pets for items. They sort of get ignored often times, so their value sneaks up on people.

So is there any set value for the animal eggs yet? I had someone telling me they would want to trade a spare ur holly for just egg #1. Now have someone offering a UR Holly for 1, 3 and 4 rather than just for the one (although this person would want to go higher too, to at least an UR BFW). So Id love to know what I could actually get for them as its my final straw in hopes of getting a UR tiger and UR holly.
