- I must say, this years staff litter has absolutely blown me away so far.
Definitely adding quite a few of this years staffies to my future hoards list.
Both last nights & tonights have gotta be some new staff pet favorites for me.

Yes! The little speckled pup that grew up into a koi princess is indeed my pup!
My apologies to keep you all waiting, but it did appear that there was still some uncertainty in regards to which pup was mine, and I didn't want to ruin the suspense too much x) I figured her adult form would easily give away which design was mine in the end anyways!
The extra hint present in the image of Nishiki was primarily based on the positioning of his tattoo; most of the design present on my staff dog was predominantly featured on her back/backside! I am, however, very much amazed at how in depth many of you detectives went in discovering the additional hint; to be quite honest, a few discovered hints that were sent my way were absolutely phenomenal in their analysis of the image and gathered multiple other connections that I had not even thought about. Major kudos to all of the hard work you all have put into your detective work!

I thought about it for a little while during her creation and while all of the guesses were being made, but in the end I ultimately decided that Mariko would best suit her ^^
Mariko was my grandmother's name, and seeing that she was one of the first people to really encourage me to become an artist and overcome the "waterfall" that comes with learning how to draw, I think it would be lovely to name my first staff pet after her!

This is Lyra and she loves the stars. I enjoyed working with the palette this year and being able to try something new for this pup. I certainly strayed from my usual dog designs for some elements, while still using the same lineart I've used the last couple of years. I do hope you love her as much as I do!
Lyra is so pretty, Nadine! ❤️
Lyra has been identified, now, so we have 5 staff/pups left to identify -
Bernouli
Lacuna
Vampiric
Yağmur
Yugi
Here are the remaining pups that need to be identified:===>
===>
And my guesses, following the order of the pups above, are Yağmur, Lacuna, Vampiric, Bernouli, and Yugi
I think the first pup is Yağmur‘s mostly because this one looks like the pup in previous staff pups.
I think the second pup is Lacuna’s because in previous staff litters, the pup’s details always are more elaborate in the grown pup.
I think the third pup is Vampiric because of the hints, especially the last 2 hints. I’ve felt this was Vampiric’s for a while now, and I still feel that way. and if I’m wrong, I’ll learn not to listen to my inner self so much in the future
I know that there is a lot of back and forth between the 3rd and 4th pups in this list as possibly being Bernouli’s based on the hints we have. The reason I think the 4th pup is Bernouli’s is because in previous staff, the pup stage has some detail that shows up more prominent in the adult stage, in this case the bell, and Bernouli’s pups have elaborate tails when they grow up.
I think that the last pup in the list is Yugi’s because of how this pup has some colors of a koi. The forth one could be the representation of the koi turned dragon, but the pup stage does not remind me of a koi and I think, based on the hints, the pup would be more of a representation of a koi before transforming into the dragon once it reaches the top of the waterfall, and grows to the final stage.
