Hoard Discussions Thread v.7!

finished my dawnflower, duskflower hoard i started a little bit ago! also finished my summer beach hoard of the beachy butterfly wolves from this month! currently the only open hoard i still have is of the little hamster in a cow onesie - i need 2 more!

now it's time to update my hoard thread / see if i want to pick up any more hoards! i've been having so much fun with chickensmoothie since i started not wanting a full pet collection and instead focusing on themes + hoards <3 it makes me so excited for each new month now that i'll 'allow' myself to keep multiples of pets i really like! instead of hoping for just duplicates for trade fodder, now i get to just be excited and hope there are cute designs that speak to me. makes every month feel as exciting as an event! <3

i tend to do smaller scale hoards but i recently started wanting to collect this lil guy, the design is so perfect in a way ? i love it and so far im at 5/10 . for some reason though i can barely find people with this pet (i'm an older returning player so i'm not sure if its cause there was a specific way to get it or not oops) i'm almost completely done with a separate one though!

the hamster is from the '19 Easter event and cost 4 tokens to get, so maybe that's why it's harder to find! (it was one of those instant adopts that cost specific tokens to get the one outcome, instead of trading in random tokens to get a random outcome. maybe that's just my feeling, but those pets oftentimes feel harder to find)

ahh i see! that would make sense as to why its harder to find its been awhile so i forgot how those events worked but that definitely explains it

I've considered hoarding these for a while and finally started a few days ago. I'm trying to get 50 in total with 25 of each one. I currently have 5 of the light pink and 9 of the dark pink.

I've been hoarding rats basically since I joined CS but I've never posted here before! My hoard isn't super impressive compared to some of the other rat hoards I've seen on here, but I wanted to make a little post because I just finished a pretty awesome part of my collection: store rats!

These fairy rats man.. I know I only have one of each so it's not really a hoard in itself, but they're part of my larger rat hoard, so I wanted to ramble about them and show them here lol.



They were SO difficult to hunt for, and I was only missing two of them because a friend had gifted me two of them back when they came out in 2013! Hardly anyone seems to have them for trade, so I knew I wanted to get them out of the way since unlike other rats they can never be rereleased and will only become harder to get as time goes on. I'm so glad to finally have all four of the fairy rats, it makes me so happy seeing the four of them all together in my store rat group. :']

Been sizing down some hoards while also separating some litter outcomes into multiple different hoards...man it's been a lot of back and forth and swapping around and renaming and counting today!! I'm so tired but I don't wanna sleep lol I have so many more hoards to cull...

Also I FINALLY managed to get these guys to line up properly so all 20 are smooching each other!! It only took me almost 6 months 😭

ugh, right? the drink rats and fairy rats are so sick, and the fairy ones are especially hard to find. def a challenge getting them together, gratz!

after finishing all my active hoards, i realized i am not having as much fun trading for just regular pets so started to look around my groups for what to hoard next. the winner is...

another march 2023 litter! this time it's going to be and !! checkboarded, of course, because gotta stay true to form.

it took me a little bit to choose which ponies from the litter to hoard, but i went these bc i think they look the best together ^-^ i wanted to do a little mushroom hoard dedicated to the walks i go on with my mom to find mushies! we have found some boletes together [right pony] and she has sent me pics of her finding chanterelles [left pony] so that is also why i decided to choose these two.

this is my second hoard of march '23 pets and tbh i rly like other ones too the artists totally popped off. i anticipate this hoard being quicker to finish bc its relatively recent and ponies r not as sought after ^-^ sorry i've been so active on this thread, i've just been really enjoying myself with hoards lately!

edit: every time i start a hoard and they won't evenly sit together to make 15 i get sad HAHA rip that plan
