But some of them weren't natural patters. Some of them were very clearly based on Warriors to the point where you can tell which cat it is without the name.
so? My cats look almost exactly like a warrior cat or two. There where no, say, purple striped cats. They are all natural colors, so they cant be copyrighted, even some are unusual, they still occur in nature

Doesn't mean it's not copyright infringement.
I could, say, make a vampire, give him blond hair and gray eyes, make him French, and call him Lestat, right? Well, I've seen plenty of blond hair, plenty of gray eyes, plenty of French people, and could have looked up the name Lestat. It's still copyright infringement.

The only copyright infringement done was the fact that they used the names of the warriors is all. You cannot copyright a natural occurring marking.
But drop the copyright infringement thing already. It is pretty offtopic anyways...

Look it up, no one can copyright an animal's natural coloring. People are different, yes, that could be CI but it also depends on other facters, but by that definition, I could sue CS for making the Jatpaw cat a copy of my Grip. See what I'm saying?

SamanthaTaylor wrote:So, back on topic. Why is everyone treating the Easter rabbits as rares? I mean, right now, it just seems ridiculous.
I really have no clue. I treat them as specials, because they are, but nowhere near rare. =P
It may be mostly because last year the rabbits were so rare from the start and they have not stopped to think over how much harder it was to get them back then.

I can understand that, but only because I would not trade them for a common outcome of the same month or of the month before. You did have to work to find the eggs, and some people had very bad luck at that.
