Easter Egg Hunt?

So how are are people getting these eggs? x: I'm confused o.o;;

I'm kinda confused, I see that we can only get a surprise every 12 hours, but alot of people have alot of eggs, I'm wondering if each item, pet, or eggs have a hiding spot of their own, or is it just the one hiding spot?

I'm not sure about the special eggs that resemble past dogs, but a bunch of the colored eggs all came in one big item pack that can be found in a banner.
