We have a goat willow in my parents' garden, so the ground is pretty much littered with catkins every year ^^
I had no idea it's called a pussy willow in English, though, haha. That's pretty adorable. Though I always thought it required a lot of fantasy to link those things to kittens.
(In German we do refer to catkins as "willow kittens", but don't have any cat-related names for the trees themselves.)


Really liking the item, too. But then again, I'm always happy whenever we get plant items~

This might just be my friends/family, but in America I'm quite sure we call them "pussy willows" because the fuzzy things look like little kitty tails. (Like a cattail) But then again,that might just be how I specifically grew up with them.

Yeah, that seems to be why they're called that, or at least looking it up told me that, too.
I also found that apparently some people here do call trees like that "Katzenweide", so... I guess German does have an equivalent to pussy willow. Can't say I've ever personally heard it, though. (Which, come to think of it, strikes me as odd, considering I grew up in a rural area.)

Looks like I'm learning a lot about willows today. I didn't know they're used for CNY traditions, either.

Now that I finally got the missing rooster cat and sorted through everything... wow, I'm just still so stunned by that litter, and by the other pets, too.
The Kirins are so vibrant, I love it! All the artists put in a lot of effort, this has got to be my favourite batch of CNY pets so far.
Though I'm also super excited for next year, because that'll be my zodiac c:

I must say. I feel very disappointed in them. When I opened the box, I seriously freaked out. I thought it was some sort of glitch or I just got really lucky to get 8 nick horses from 2009.... then I see everyone else get them. I just think they are way to similar for my taste...

They're just newborn pictures, the grown outcomes are likely going to be CNY related and thus very different from the old horse litter^^ Right now we don't even know if they'll be Nick horses, or if he decided to just use the egg again for something different.
Sometimes newborn pictures simply are similar.
All the Malk dragons share an egg picture despite being released at different times. There are at least 5 chicken litters with the very same egg picture. Tess dragon eggs only differ in colour and look very simple, too.
I'm pretty happy to see a Nick litter again after so many years, and I bet they're gonna look adorable, whatever they'll be x3
