I am a bit confused on the X-ray dogs. See, it looks like they grow into one stage, then the next stage, the PPS is sort of, the system they go with- The heart pup grew into one that shows the circulatory system with blood vessels and the like(so brain=nervous system, bones=skeletal system, muscle=the muscles etc..). 'So, how did we get the digestive system, from a pup with lungs?? Shouldn't it be showing the respiratory system or something?

Actually, the 'digestive' system on the pup has lungs on it too (and a heart), they just might be hard to visualize at that angle. The image on the pup (stage before pps) actually had the lungs, heart, small intestines, stomach blah blah blah, but since the lungs took center stage on the pup's shoulder (and took up most of the design), the other organs were pushed into the legs and pretty well ignored. (The organ sketch was just so large that was the best way I could fit it onto the small line art and still have it recognizable.)



If you look closely you can see the stomach and small intestines going onto the legs.


Also, I said it before, but, the pps does have lungs too,



You see the first two organs? The one that kind of sticks into the chest? That's the lung, and the thing behind it is another lobe of the lung.

The pup isn't the digestive system, it's actually the whole organ system. ^^

Huh, all I could make out in the first was the lungs, everything else is so smushed it may as well not even be there And the reverse is true for the PPS stage, still don't really see any lungs. Or at least they don't look like any lungs.

If you're not really familiar with animal anatomy it may be hard to tell what's what. The second stage growth show human anatomy while the PPS shows dog anatomy which is why they look so different. Human anatomy doesn't fit too well on animal lines.

Huh, Tales of Earthsea? That's unusual. most people don't know about that movie....
