All right. I just noticed that while this dog was growing up, it had an earring, but when it was full grown, the earring was gone. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

It's cuz the dogs are "growing up".
The green and black one and the one shown above, "matured" and took out the earrings and claws, but the other one in the litter kept them in and is the "immature" one
