I think you're incredibly lucky to have a lot of them, I have inspected ratios for the litter that there is only 10% chance to have still growing caterpillar while the pupae are 45% each, like 7 caterpillars per 10 people which some people had to miss it unlike pupae that are already over 1 per person even if the split happens for both(only if the ratio for split is exactly 1:1).
