Far, far away from the people and the noise, there was a forgotten town. A town where only few inhabited it. And those few only had each other for company. They had a tight relationship for it was almost as if if they didn't have each other, they would be alone.
There was a dog only made of stone but he was confident that somewhere inside of him he had a heart beating in his chest. But he was slightly cracking over his body. That didn't stop him. He kept trekking along even if he was afraid of outliving all of his friends, his family.
Then there was Macintosh, a slowly rotting apple. He was left behind from some small, distracted family after a picnic. Him and Ruin have become the best from friends. Riding atop Ruin's shoulders, tail, back, even his head. Anything would work as long as Macintosh wasn't alone. He lived to be with others. So him and Ruin were a good pair. They never leaved each other for anything. And that was the way they liked.
A stray dog found the town while wondering. She was first surprised by the fact that a statue had come to life and the same with an apple. It took a long time for her to get used to it, but soon she never wanted to be without them. They comforted her. They made her laugh. They were always there for her. And soon she found herself loving them. As a family and soon towards Ruin as more than just a friend... But she didn't dare say so. Ruin was so different from herself. How was it that she had fallen in love with a wolf that wasn't even suppose to be alive?
"Ruin! Ruin where are you?"
They were currently playing hide and seek to pass the time. Earth knew calling out for him completely defeat the purpose of the game but sometimes it made Ruin laugh so that she could find him easier. She trotted around an empty warehouse, sniffing for that rotten smell that always followed the sharp aroma of stone. Ruin smelled different than the rest of the town. It was hard to explain but it just... was.
A few hours and Earth had long since found Ruin and his shadow, Macintosh. They were sitting in the shade, talking about anything, when Earth felt a tingle start in her nose. A sneeze started up in her and soon she was sneezing more often than she should. Ruin looked curiously at her and picked up Macintosh. He then ran up into a building where he knew there was a few plants that would help with Earth's sneezing. He found the plants and looked out threw a window, down at Earth, with Macintosh hanging out of his mouth. But as he looked down at her, a tremendous quake quivered through the town. The EarthQuake was so strong it caused the ground to split apart in a few places.
Ruin was so surprised that he dropped Macintosh into one of those very cracks.
Earth stared up in horror for she had somehow caused the quake, she just knew it.
And now, would Ruin ever forgive her?
