I'll start on Saikiyo's pets

*hauls in a giant crate full of pets* Hurrah! I'm sure you all know what happens now... We will be investigating Yagmur!


Very planty. This pet has an old kind of look to it, and it's a lot bigger then most pets. It has kind of female-ish look to it, with the eyelashes and long hair. I would also like to comment on the huge wings!


Still looking VERY girly! Long, feminine white hair and thick, black lashes still.

That's all! I think we're looking for pets with hair this year. Or particularly female looking ones. *shrug*

Edit: All pets seem to have tears under their eyes?

Making it more clear:
- Girl related (Edit: EX. Hair, bows on tail)
- Lots of line edits
- Tears under eyes
- Big
I noticed something else, the 2013 one has BUTTERFLY wings, which COULD relate to the butterfly pup, but i'm putting that after our suspicion of PLUMA.
Edit:
- Different coloured paws
- Unique designs - One ghostly, One Nature - y
- Edited tails
- Added hair
- Patterns in the air - Ghosts and droplets
Edit 2:
- Eyelashes on both dogs

I like feminine things but my staff pet this year isn't very feminine.

Maybe it'll have the tears and wings and hair, but just not feminine?

I find it rather funny that we're getting all these analysis posts of adult pets when none of the pups are anywhere near their adult stages yet! After all, the staff pets can change dramatically between pup and adult. Just a few examples:

I like feminine things but my staff pet this year isn't very feminine.

Yagmur didn't say it isn't femanine. She said it is less fermanin. So if anything, it will still be faminine.

I find it rather funny that we're getting all these analysis posts of adult pets when none of the pups are anywhere near their adult stages yet! After all, the staff pets can change dramatically between pup and adult. Just a few examples:

I assume we're more predicting what the adult stages would look like and what we're looking for when they do reach that age to match to their artists. It's less of guessing from what the 2nd stage pups would be. At least, that's what I think.

this is her only one, but it has a lot of line edits. wings, antlers, tail, this is a very edited pup. Chia's style is girly-ish, a very cutesy theme to each of her pets. always the most vibrant colours, I find. this is judging off of both her staff pet and pets she has drawn in general.

Orchid Sprig:


no line edits, more simple design. hidden message in the background.


slight line edit (wings), simple design, kind of hidden wisps in the background.


not really a line edit apart from the tail (?) more detailed design (oldest one, though), no hidden things.

so basically we're looking for little to no line edits, a simple yet busy-ish design, and possibly hidden messages or just hidden things in general o3o

Saikiyo's pets

mhmmm, starting out nice...Visible, heavy lineart edits. The colours seem sort of, glowy? It's
weird, but it's very smooth looking. Paws are different coloured. I can't say much because of
the heavy lineart edits, but maybe going for a freaky, Twilight-zone kind of art? Stripes along
the leg and paws are mainly a white colour.


Okay, not really much Twilight-zone-ish art as opposed to the '13 staff pet, but definitely an out-
of-this-world art. Heavy lineart edits; different tail, nose, eyes, ears. There's a lot of fluff on the
tail and is that a piercing I see? Paws are mostly an off-white kind of colour with stripes along
it, just like '13 pet.

Theories on Saikiyo
Mysterious looking pets? (that sounds kind of lame)

Heavy lineart edits, mainly to the face and the tail.

Stripes along the leg with white paws, or at least most
of the paw is white.

Saikiyo seems like they stick to 3 basic colours from the
palette and use them throughout the pet. (a pale colour, a
dark colour and an in-between colour)

-Furry crimped ears
-Cream colored hooves
-Snake eyes
-White swirls and spots on legs, ears, and bridge of nose
-Furry mane and belly
-Horns/antlers

-Bandaged front leg
-other leg has lotus seeds
-Snake-like tongue
-Protrusions from holes in back

Things we know

I'll just say Móð was very tame compared to this year's dog. (-:
My dog is... well... Certainly... unique... this year.

i'd like to add that most of their edits have thin lines compared to the normal lineart ^^
