Fleur [♀] and Nera [♀]
It was like a dream, a fickle fairytale of lingering desire all wrapped up in a child's dying wish.
She was a beautiful creature, like nothing I'd ever laid eyes on before. Our love was spontaneous, bursting into a raging flame ten miles high the moment our eyes met. Sparks danced through the air in those first seconds, lighting up the worlds we called our own. It was what some refer to as "love at first sight". Other simply call it "attraction", brushing it off with mocking laughter. But us? We know the truth.
I watched her dance each night, gliding across the stage as though she was flying. Her performances were of the most beautiful sort, and she a true master of the art. Each new show was like something I'd never once seen before, a miracle born from the blossom of her radiating feet and they spun her delicate body this way and that. She enchanted me with each move, took my breath each second she took flight.
And then, as quickly as it began, each performance ended in such a bittersweet agony. Once more she'd conquered the grand stage, and as always she held a victory. But the conclusion of her dance meant the conclusion of our time together. Oh how I wish I had the courage to speak to her. . .she doesn't even know my name!

Angela [♀] and Rayanne [♀]
The sunlight crept in through closed sheer curtains, trickling into the space and causing the girls to stir. They lay tangled up in one another under masses of blankets, hiding away in the small fort they'd built. It was just like when they were kids, really. A few stolen chairs from the dining room, some blankets from the linen closet, and bam! Instant hideaway. And, what could be better? Playing like a child, so relaxing, such bliss. . .
"Good morning, my love," Angela whispered softly, kissing a soft cheek that matched her own, "How did you sleep?" Her heart fluttered as the girl in her arms opened her sparkling sky-blue eyes, the sun catching them in just the right way to make them shimmer like the sea.
Rayanne rolled over onto her stomach, her head resting on her sister's chest, her eyes meeting an identical pair. "Amazing, of course," she murmured in response, obviously deeply in love. Out of no where she blushed, her child-like innocence coming through, and she turned her head the tiniest bit away.
Her sister could only chuckle lightly in response and caress the face of her younger half gently. "You're so silly, darling," Angela said, her voice trailing off as her mind wandered. They'd been together all their lives, and together for. . .well, she didn't know quite how to put it. For as long as she could remember they'd been close, their relationship getting more and more intimate as the years passed. It started with your usual childhood sister things, holding hands and kissing cheeks, but eventually landed them here, twenty-two, out of their parents' house, and living together.
When they were children, they didn't understand, and thus it could be excused. But now, as adults? Pale pink roses blossomed on Angela's cheeks as she looked away, suddenly deeply embarrassed. Its not that she was embarrassed of Rayanne, or of their love, heaven's no! It was just. . .hard to deal with sometimes. After all, she knew it was wrong. And she knew that their parents would kill them if they ever found out. But. . .it was right; they belonged with one another.
As if reading her beloved's thoughts, Rayanne smiled happily and gently pulled Angela's face to her's. "You're too serious!" she said, giggling, "There's nothing to worry about, angel. We're happy, aren't we?"
Angela nodded in response and smiled lightly. In the end, that's what really mattered. And what everyone else thought? That just wasn't important. Reality could be dealt with if that awful time ever had to come. She shook the thoughts away, and kissed her precious Ray warmly on the lips. "It'll all be okay, I promise you."
