As far as I can remember it's never been called anything other than Zodiac litter, and it's definitely what it goes by these days.
The different outcomes are also all simply named after their zodiacs c: So in the order they are listed in the archive:
Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces
So if you just say "Taurus dog" or "Taurus Zodiac" people know exactly what you mean.

There may not be an official name for it, since it's still a relatively new pet. Official names for pets don't come out immediately, I assume the name they are most commonly called eventually becomes it's official name.

For this pet, I think I'll just call it "Signal dog". The other one could be "Lost signal dog" or "Broken signal dog".
