My possibly incorrect read is that the squid is pretty middle of the road! There are some players who are searching for it and will be the full 1non of its .75-1non range but mostly it goes for .75non. It doesn't have very low demand like some of the fruits/vegetables but isn't a superstar either.

It looks to me like your side is within the squids range. The most popular pet on your side looks like the rainbow corgi which is pretty popular; I feel like the 1MA PPS have similar medium demand (I had trouble trading my true date boar PPS for some reason... but that's just anecdotal).

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they're overpaying with the pps @ 1non!

I believe this is right, I am not the best at rarity math but I don’t think your side adds up to 1 non, it feels like you’re getting a good deal at a glance. Third opinion?

Just as an anecdote, this month I offered a shy basilisk (2011 store worth 0.25n/3-4MA) for a full 2017 gryphon lion set and the other party said that they thought the basilisk would only be enough for the PPS. I don't necessarily agree with that valuation since I've only tried trading for them that one time but the demand for the lions is certainly very high. They could very well be overpaying out of desperation, but that's just my opinion.
