Láska and Vnitřní.
They belonged to seperate clans, but ones that usually got along even if only a little. Láska had a deep love for the earth and was gentle and kind while Vnitřní loved the sky and had a fierce personality. When Vnitřní met Láska for the first time, he was attracted by her kindness and her gentle ways only made him want to protect her all the more.
It was natural that the lions were fiercer. The lionesses often had more psychic strength than the males, while they had more physical strength. Because of this, the lionesses were often stronger in their own way, so to counter this they were born with a sweet temperament. Because they were weaker physically, they didnt try to force a male to stay with them. Instead, the males chose females based off of their gentle hearts. In a pride it was often a female who ruled, called a Queen. While the Queen could have several males in her pride, often the males would pick other mates that also answered to the Queen and kept the pride healthy.
If a female or male was found to be 'tainted' then they would be forced out of the pride and exiled. The other females in her pride, if they had any strength at all, were either Healers or Priestesses. The Healers had the most knowledge about healing, while the Priestesses could glimpse into anothers heart. Among the males were the Warlords, the Princes and the Warlord Princes. While the Princes and the Warlords were quite fierce when their Queen and pride were in danger, it was the Warlord Princes who generally had the worse tempers and were the strongest.
There were many prides, some of the smaller ones ruling within the much larger territory of another. There were three major territories in all, and only the strongest of the Queens ruled over all of them. Mainly, a Queen just ruled a smaller area within the territory, big enough for her clan to rest and eat comfortably. For the lions who served under the Territory Queens though, they were not subject to such restrictions. The whole territory was their land and they patrolled it often, making sure that all tainted lions were exiled into the barren wastelands that waited for them outside of the safety of their territory.
Láska, a young Queen who ruled a smaller area inside the territory she lived in and her Warlord Prince Vnitřní ruled their pride and a few years after had their first young, a little Warlord Prince by the name of Láskavost.
Soon though, Láskavost wanted to serve his own Queen, with her own court and so he left his pride and went to the Eastern part of the territory he lived in. It was there he met Dívka, a territory Queen. Despite her many suitors, she fell in love with him and they now rule their territory together.
